I don’t watch a heap of the Hawks, but last night TB had some moments, but also doesn’t seem to be moving any better than his time with us.

He may have won us 1 more game this year, but probably not moved the needle at all tbh (no disrespect to TB, just the whole team was so bad).

So we still get useable assets. Yep #8 would have been better than something late teens, but that is what it is.

Still the right decision to trade him out, and our opportunity to win the trade is for the next 5-10 years to show once we’ve actually used the picks (either directly or to trade up)

Yep, this is it. Shouldn't take futures unless they've already not got their current year's picks - and since they only trade theirs out to force us to accept futures, our response at that point should have been to tell TB he could go elsewhere or stay with us, but he wasn't going to the hawks.
