Do you know how expensive it is to buy and maintain an aircraft? Millions. The club would go broke lol. Even a B737 aircraft...

Aviation = not cheap.

If clubs want to charter an aircraft (and pay for the aircraft themselves, bearing in mind it isn't cheap) then that's their choice and the AFL shouldn't have a say how clubs travel from point A to point B during Home & Away or Finals matches.

Correct me if off the mark, but wouldn't chartering/owning interfere with AFL sponsorship arrangements and be disallowed, as in all totalitarian regeims.

Well Virgin Australia is the official airline of the AFL.

A lot of charter companies in Perth use smaller turboprop aircraft.

Alliance have aircraft in Perth. Anyway its a moot point....aviation is simply too expensive.

Never sustained like them on field at least, as mentioned the MCG and footballing Mecca (knowledge and collaboration) is too far away. The 1990s seem like a bit of a miracle (and/or we got on the juice before other teams)

The bloke who I'm pretty sure is the owner of Brooks Hire has a jet parked in his front yard. Maybe we can get him to sponsor the club and borrow his? Not sure it's big enough to fly the whole team but it'll be enough for the credits crew

Look I want an all-non Vic Grand Final (and Prelim finals...) as much as the next normal non-Vic kent, but Hawthorn vs Geelong and Collingwood vs Brisbane is as good as it gets outside of that. Intense rivalries, cracking games, likeable players (I know, I know, but there are a few) plus a whole bunch you just want to punch in the face.

Last night's game was a cracker. Hawthorn shooting out to an early lead, Bender losing his mind at posters losing their minds, Danger putting in one of the greatest individual performances of all time, a heaving MCG, Mitchell showing his tactical brilliance by throwing Watson in defence, the devastation of missing a Grand Final with concussion, the game had it all, and I am hyped for today's game too. 2023's Grand Final was a classic and we get a replay today.

Can't believe we lost you to the dark side so soon...

If that campaigner didn't steal the one from Midland Maccas we could've just used that! Might’ve taken a few trips to get everyone over but that's the sacrifice you make.
