Yeah I acknowledged we need someone like him but Tom Atkins and Newcombe were both undrafted players. If we want one of those theres plenty around.

If Sharp has the ceiling of Tom Green or Dunkley then absolutely. But I feel like you go highest ceiling with top 2 picks and if they bust they bust.

There are plenty of b/c graders (Worpel, Drew, Libba) around, but A grade insiders are less common.

Sure, we can run the crapshoot of hoping to get one via SSP or MSD - but equal (or better) chance of Culley vs Newcombe.

Highly rated players, positions of need, and finally multiple high draft picks to access them - it shouldn’t be that difficult for us this year (until we do stupid trades etc)

If we got Starcevich would we be looking to try Ginbey back in the midfield as the defensive midfield bull? I know we have tried briefly and it failed and then his move back has been great for him and us as a team but if we have starcevich as lock down defender (maybe not playing quite as tall as ginbey) then maybe they are wanting to revisit ginbey to the mids again. Surely it's too early in ginbeys career to say that he will now forever more be just a backman? Think maybe yeo being out all year effected this too as he seemed to have that 50/50 kinda split happening with yeo and midfield/backline in his first year?

No, Ginbey is not and will never be a midfielder. He’s a natural defender, leave him there and let him be our CHB so we don’t have to play 2 other spud key defenders alongside him.

Libba ain't a B/C grader.

He's as A grade as they come and we should dream of having a player that excels in what he does.

Hes worth a late 1st rounder at best. I wouldnt want to waste even that much.
