Yes even minus Stuart. Plus Geelong are better at the MCG these days. Something that used to trouble them over the last few years. They use the width of the MCG well - its a bloody wide ground. They also defend the width well.

Clearly Scott knew the only way to win the Premiership was have a game style to suit the MCG. Thats exactly what Geelong have now.

Be an interesting thought discussion on what came first, system and structure to suit the G in finals and training players to play that, OR was in bringing in players that make playing the G easier/stronger than other venues and then creating a system/structure to suit those players strengths.
Example is Dempsey, possibly the best winger in the comp in using the length and width of the MCG.

Since our slow defenders retired and we picked up the running power of Jezza, Holmes, Dempsey etc it was a game changer.
