Hope you don’t mind the intrusion though wanted to say congrats. You guys just bat so deep in the middle that we couldn’t keep up with you. All this talk about “Mr September” Jai Newcombe while you have Cam Rayner who just lifts in the big moments.

I hope you win next week. Nothing but respect for your club.

And tonight Cam was still sick. Has been all week. Was vomiting on field and drinking red bull, no doze and something else i can't remember shots to be able to play out the game.

He is stupendous. Hasn't reached his peak yet.

at the ground you see all the somewhat silly things harris does to keep energy up in the side - cheering when the opposition shanks a shot at goal, little fist bump behind play if a player had covered their man in the last f50 entry etc. its a little unconventional but his leadership in the second half of this year has been second to none.

We win by 29 points and this is the garbage headline. Albeit on a crap news site, but still.

Great for motivation though.

Two big things out of this game.

All I'm hearing about is the non free to Elliot. Ralphy has just about lost it. They lost by 5 or 6 goals. What a bunch of sooks.

That mark by Gallop was Lockett like. I got genuinely excited by that moment. And he kicked the goal.

We've found potentially a very good player there. Who knows how good.
Not just that mark but his constant harassing, tackling and pressure whenever someone near him had the ball.
4 tall forward line next year once Hippy is back I think. Ty can play the Ah Chee role on a dangerous 3rd tall.

All the best next week, just far too clean and strong. Losing Pendles didn't help without leadership, and Howe and Mihocek were clearly not fit.
Cheers
I know you’re trying to be gracious in defeat but maybe next time don’t make excuses when you are trying to be. Losing peddles may have hurt, those two guys might not have been fit BUT we were playing a ruckman as a tall forward with a 19 and a 20 year old as the other two talls because Hipwood is out. We were missing our captain who is a 2x Brownlow medalist, 2 of our best 6 defenders + Coleman. We lost our best winger during the game.

This team is incredible. The fight, the grit, the skill, the talent. Fagan is a genius.

Gardiner was huge tonight. Love that bloke. Heart and soul player! So good to see Zorko turn it around after getting blasted in here at half time. Champion player.

Toughest draw in the history of the game, injuries piling up throughout the year and we find a way to get back to the grand final for a third straight season. Genuinely remarkable.

Gallop and Morris are genuinely so good for young key forwards. So happy to see Ty just grow in confidence the last 2 weeks. Clug and Ashcroft were enormous. Wilmot and Rayner struggled in the first half but had a brilliant second half, they epitomised Fagan’s “goldfish” mantra. Marshall and Reville were so composed in front of 96k. And Harris ANDREWS! What an absolute superstar.

Finally, Nick Daicos, 3 handballs in the last quarter. Commentators were raving about every little thing he did all night. Such an overrated player, I loved when Wilmot shrugged him off with ease.

Go Lions!!!! How far we have come in the last decade. A genuine powerhouse of a football club as we stand here in 2025.

Love this team so much - incredibly proud of the effort in the face of a tough draw and even tougher run with injury. I'm quietly confident we can salute next week. This team just seems to have a hunger about them.

So impressed by Ty gallop - I can't wait to watch him clunk marks for us for the next decade.
