Someone remind me, the “nominated card” is the one you used to pay for the ballot entry?

Not the card that may or may not be saved on an account…

Writing the second line should be confirming that first sentence, but you just get nervous at times like this!

A watch point for me is whether they give p1 the best seats like the last 2 years or just guarantee a ticket like the pies did? Sounds like the club chooses.

It should be best category seats for P1. As a September member since it came in I’d hate to be in the nosebleeds whilst a 2 year September member or P2 gets a plum seat.

I couldn’t even see an option to save a card as I had the same thought as you prior to the ballot. It’ll be the one you paid the admin fees with

They start charging tickets at about midday and go p1 then p2 etc.

P1 was done about 4pm from memory then p2 went past midnight (with some even on Monday I think).

I was p2 last two years and was 5.30 and 7.30 charges.

In 2023 all p3 memberships also got a ticket. In 2024 quite a few p2 missed out so no p3. It all depends how many registered. More members could be more registrations, but not sure how many people want to travel again.

Can you recall if P2s missing out last year was more of an outlier/ minority outcome. Trying to figure out if the odds are in my favour or it's a toss of the coin.

My daughter has a much better memory that me.
She mentioned the money came out Sunday (as the text mentioned) and ticket seating advise was done by Monday

So, you can get an idea today of likely seating category going on the amount deducted.

People should make sure they have enough funds in your nominated account to allow for the very top pricing.
Even if you are not P1. It would be terrible if you missed out on better tickets because you had insufficient funds.
It is a little unlikely you get better tickets but better safe than sorry.

I’m a P1 and have been for a long time - since it began. Last year P2 were posting on the board the had funds taken out before many of us P1 had. I didn’t get anything taken until early evening when P2 were getting things mid afternoon and some in prime seats. While it’s suppose to be P1 first I don’t think it necessarily happens - However I was happy to at least get something which was not the highest P1 price.
