P1 x 2. Level 4 Front. I guess two years in a row being on the fence was being a little greedy.
Also P1 and we have 2 x Level 1 Goal - might consider a swap if you wanted to get closer?

My 11 year old struggles to see over heads in Level 1. :(

Happy to get a good ticket but how can the AFL possibly justify a 295 dollar difference between "behind cheersquad" and L1 goals. It's literally a few seats away.

Yeah this is us

Last year we level 1 most expensive tix. Not great seats with the overhang

This year we are like you level 1 goal - which I assume is even further back than I was last time. Lot of overhang. Baffles me that that rating system considers the last row of level 1 behind the goals where you are basically watching a tv better than front row level 4. So frustrating

Anyone have a link to map of seats per category?? I found one last year but can't for this year

What is level 4 front?
I don't know, what's level 4 front with you?

But I think this is the current seating map for the MCG.

After I said that I realised I should try not to be lazy and google it.

Give me attitude again and I’ll meet you at the Shane Warne statue pregame.

Does anyone know if the seats are handed out in order, row A, B, C, etc. Was charged at 3:02pm, right at the start of the ballot. Just praying I don't get deep under the overhang of level 1.

From memory I think I had that in 2023 and had similar issues as we were right in the back of the section just in front of standing as every bastard would stand up if anything happened. Got real lucky last year with what I think would be level 1 wing on the 50m line, second row from the fence.

thanks for posting, i found the same so that gives me some confidence

i think level 1 goal is a bit of a raffle. can be really good if you are nearish to front or mid, terrible if you are last row.

Level 1 is so big it should be split in to mulitple categories

anyway end rant /

It seems to go best to worst, so I'd imagine best is L2 / 2A, then L1 wing, then L1 goals. Then L4 front, middle, back.

In terms of order, I reckon it does a few whole bays at a time - like maybe 1000 ticket batches, not 1 by 1.

Thanks for all the updates, no info anywhere else. P2 waiting. Obviously P1 gives you higher priority but do the best seats get given to P1 too or random?

This is how MCC ballot is allocated - L2, L1, L4.

We had L2 last year, under the big scoreboard at city centre end (1 row behind Aker!). Great seats, even though Aker thought he owned the bay. 😂

Priority 1 members are given their seats first, seat allocation starts with next best available.
So in theory, yer P1 will get better classified seats also.

Finally, P1 Level 4 front
Never been that high except for flying down to Melbourne;)
My daughter said she sat there in 2016 for the Dogs win, and they were fine.
So glad it is front and not middle or back.

My 3rd trip to Melbourne ever. Each time it was for the GF. Results stand 1-1
Last 2 GF we had Level 1, very back row paying top $. Just in front of standing room.
The atmosphere was great on the day but hated those seats and of course the loss.
In 2024 level 1 behind goals to left of cheer squad about 12 rows back.
Ah-Ghee goaled as i was in the aisle going to toilets to beat the queue but did not miss it.
They were pretty good seats but i would not like being in the front few rows though
