Hard to take down swans there at Henson park one of the hardest road trips.
thought was going to be closer and low scoring but was all the swans from the get go.
Pies Ash Centra late out v stkilda with calf tightness just felt it tighten up in the warm ups.
Good record Pies at RSEA but not this time i think stkilda will win by a few goals say 21 points
Next games v tigers at Vic park might get down there.
Could be last win of the season.
only 2 weeks left thankfully.
Finals go for another 2-3 weeks.

Hard to watch stkilda and pies.
Talk about errors.
both have attack of the fumbles.
stkilda going a bit better
ugly game at rsea

Here live this jumper clash is terrible from the front literally carbon copies of each other white and black stripes with pride stripe in middle only difference st kilda have a red stripe of out side of jumper can literally see the girls picking it up out of a pack and not giving handball cause they do not know who is who terrible planning by aflw and clubs
At the very least they could of worn black and white shorts. No planning whatsoever.

At the very least they could of worn black and white shorts. No planning whatsoever.

it would be a lot clearer if Collingwood wore white shorts.

I don’t disagree however white shorts where banned at the start of Aflw because they made the women feel uncomfortable so it was decided they’d always were dark/home shorts regardless

If you don’t know the answer as to why then I can’t help you I’m sorry maybe someone else will answer but I’m not going to

What's the issue wearing white shorts?
Doesn't work well when women have periods. Don't know why that was so hard for some posters to say...

Anyway solid win by the Saints. 5 in a row now. Hoping this is the year we make finals...still tight for that last spot but 6 teams with only 1 game separating them all between 4th and 9th.

Love watching Ash McCarthy - great engine, puts in 100%.

Dockers doing better than I expected tbh but I think Melbourne will roll them 2nd half. They got caught cold first quarter but since then have been more switched on.

Hayley Miller needs to be less fumbly but probably won't be happening now after playing as she has for so long - too many dump kicks and that bounce attempt that rolled away when they could have gone inside 50. She's one of those that I really want to do well - but just hasn't taken that step to be too notch.

Damn, look at that ladder. Middle section is toight and a bunch of those teams are playing each other over the next 3 weeks. What a race for the 8 it's shaping up to be!

Struggling to figure out if the result of this Frem-Melb match will have any impact on the rest of the season, though. I'm thinking... no? Maybe. Depends.

Good game awareness there Fox director, really captured the Aine Tighe moment beautifully.
Yeah thought that was unfortunate timing...at least give the PiP. Sigh...was just about her last act of the game. Hope it's nothing major - the Dockers are much better with her in the team and the game in general.

Anyway nice win to the Dockers, pretty stoked it went their way. I wasn't sure they would be able to hold on but despite only kicking 2 goals in 3 quarters they did manage to shut down the Demons pretty well. O'Driscoll a rock down back, Brazill with a good read and intercept mark late and same with Georgie Brisbane. Bowers BOG I think for me especially that last quarter was immense.

If I didn't have this kids bday party to go to I'd have been there...would have been a good one to see live after that last visit when I saw the Kangaroos kick a record score.

Dees list management likes this
Could do with Eliza West though, particularly when Purcell keeps getting injured.

Frem v Melb votes

Best
3 - Aisling McCarthy
Slotted a nice one early which invariably gets the troops going.
2 - Kiara Bowers
On one hand you don't want to endorse 30% DE, on the other hand she embodied how they won.
1 - Tyla Hanks
Tireless in-and-under game, except she gets tired and spends a not unreasonable 24% of gametime off the ground, which wouldn't matter so much if the aforementioned Purcell was out there.

Worst
1 - Sarah Verrier
Up and down this year. 7 tackles but just 22 metres gained.
2 - Alyssa Bannan
Did a couple good things, and not much else except missed 2 very gettable shots.
3 - ??
Anybody involved in the decision-making process which leads to Melbourne wearing that jumper with blue shorts away at Fremantle. Again.

I dont think she should be rubbed out, but not sure how the MRO comes away with anything but a suspension for Strom, particularly given how players in this comp have been suspended for no head high contact

3 - Laura Gardiner
3rd player to cross the 40-disposal mark on multiple occasions. Players to have never done it once at AFL/W level include: Chris Judd, [PLAYERCARD]Marcus Bontempelli[/PLAYERCARD], Michael Voss, [PLAYERCARD]Andrew McLeod[/PLAYERCARD], [PLAYERCARD]Trent Cotchin[/PLAYERCARD] and various other duds.
2 - Montana Ham
I think she had 7 shots... of whiskey before taking the field, thwarting what might've otherwise been a record-breaking statistical performance.
1 - Tanya Kennedy
Along with Ally Morphett, the 4 best players on the day hacked the Sherrin to bits and it didn't really matter. Kennedy was her typical hard nut self, but did jag 1 of her 2 goals on the brushed back of maybe the softest free kick ever.

Worst
1 - Brenna Tarrant
Gifted a blazer last year, and this year has reminded us of Denzel Washington's advice: "You don't want an award to improve your status. You want to improve the award's status."
2 - Breann Harrington
I spent the first month of the season regretting the decision to leave this personal fave off my latest MVP list. These past few weeks strongly hint at unwanted validation, and there's little doubt such fluctuations derive from the coach not knowing what to do with Jess Good.
3 - Darcy Vescio
Genius. Better to be dropped now, allowing media mates enough time to rally a recall for finals!

Catching up on StK v Coll
Best 3-2-1: Georgia Patrikios, Brittany Bonnici, Jesse Wardlaw
Worst 1-2-3: Alice Burke, Lauren Butler, Sabrina Frederick
