I'm a serial teabagger regardless of the game. I like doing it even more if it's someone that has killed me lots and I like to see if I get an angry message.
I do it to annoying NPCs in single player games.

Would like to see the kill stats more noticeable after you end someone, similar to what BF1 has. Comparison below.

In fact, they should completely copy BF1 in the HUD department. Everything is much clearer

BF1 as a whole is clearer. I cannot see most people at all on my tv when in a vehicle. Its like im playing SW Battlefront 2015 again.

History says no. Unless they have changed it, you'll then only be searching for other people that also have cross play off. As its not the default option the player base will be small.

Wish games would just automatically pair PC players with other PC and console with console by default but they go the opposite way.
Cross play has been good for gaming in general.

Increases the playable time frame for a given game title with a larger player pool. Makes older games remain playable years down the track.

And for the PC community I am on it doesn't see games become wastelands with desolate servers within months of a games launch. Which obviously improves the affordability and value for dollar when choosing what games to buy if you know you can get far longer use.

Bought the game tonight and having the ability to have crossplay to keep servers well populated for years was a draw card for what should be considered as someone who's got a casual relationship with the BF franchise.

Cross play is good when it doesn’t give one side a big advantage. CO-OP crossplay is fine. Competitive crossplay like in BF6 makes it a bit unfair. PC just has inherent advantages as well as a more enthusiast community…e.g. they play the game a lot more.

I thought I was top shit because I had hundreds of hours in BF4 on PS4 and always finished in the top group. Bought the game on PC and got my arse whooped. Getting shot across map by vehicles and people. Same things happening in BF6.

Maybe you’re just old now. BF4 was released in 2013.

I am ridiculously bad at this game. Like, so bad I can't believe it. I'm not a FPS rookie by any means but I just get walloped every single game. I've played maybe 10 hours and never finished higher than 20th. It's pretty frustrating, it seems like I hit these guys 5 or 6 times and never put a dent in their health, then they turn around and kill me in one or two shots. Then there's times where I seem to be killed before they even appear on my screen. I've been able to get in a chopper one time in the whole time I've been playing and as soon as I got in it just flew straight up in the air and crashed before I could do anything.
I realise it's not like COD and you have to be more strategic but I must be playing this game completely wrong.
I'm also getting a bit annoyed when I try to pick a spawn point and the slightest touch of my controller stick snaps so hard and sends me to the other side of the map.
The sniping feels way too weak. Last night I hit this guy twice from 200m and he still didn't die, then he beams me with an assault rifle and I'm instantly killed.
I guess I am just out of practice but I'm feeling like a lost cause at the moment 😅

Dw I am the same man.

Finally got into a helicopter but I was the gunner and someone else was flying. We went straight up and came straight down crashing and dying instantly 🤣 to be fair I would have done the exact same thing.

Try changing some of the settings, I found some stuff on YouTube that’s helped a little bit but I am still getting slaughtered most games haha.

This balance is seriously out. Is there a sweet spot in the game ? If you don't headshot you're not killing. They just run off

Suppose I don't mind being killed by 100m away by an SMG whilst my AR struggles to hit.

They're out gunning me when I'm supposedly smashing them at 50m+ with an LMG too. I thought I read something about SMGs was being addressed and I hope it's their damage fall off.

Also noticed a very significant delays on the C4s, multiple times I loaded up and tank and pressed the explosion button and instead the tank with the 5m long nozzel turns and kills me when I am in fact closer than the gun could be.

I too have been beamed by SMGs a thousand yards away.

Vehicles are made of paper mache in this game. Piloting a heli feels like I’m piloting the Titanic. They’ve neutered the manoeuvrability to the point where they have just become sittings ducks that are there to look cool when they blow up.

After a week I can conclude the maps suck. No points of interest. A thousand angles to die from. Even the “good” maps are really just that because they look the best and have slightly less avenues towards death (Siege of Cairo).

That's why I don't play conquest unless my friends want to. I feel like it's too crazy. When trying to defend you can only ever find cover to protect yourself from 40% of angles when 60-80% would be fairer and give you a moment to breathe. Most of the maps also don't feel like they have a flow in conquest, it's just all over the place.

So I nearly always play breakthrough and rush and I have a blast playing those. Sometimes it can be really hard to attack when the defenders get really entrenched but with some good coordination you can always make a good go of it. I love how many games are going down to the wire and the determination off the attacking teams when they're nearly out of tickets. Even when you think you're on top as the defender it takes just one enemy squad to poke a hole and you'll lose the sector. Some of my favourite BF moments so far come from playing those game modes. I was playing with my normal crew in Iberian on Rush and our team just couldn't plant the bomb with maybe 20 tickets left. Eventually I smoked the door way (now my favourite reason to play support) and the defenders started firing into it thinking we were masking an attack. One of my squad who often plays assault used the smoke cover to raise a ladder to a second floor window and we went through at once, flash banged the defenders, cleared the joint out and planted. As we immediately started setting up to defend the bomb the rest of our team piled in and we claimed the sector and went on to win the match. I don't really get many of those moments in Conquest.

It's a battlefield, there should be a thousand angles to die from. Not every map needs to have one or two ridiculous chokepoints like Metro. If you run with a squad some of those angles can be covered and people can revive you.
