Why not bring him in as a DFA to replace Setterfield? Give Stevens a massive running program over the preseason from the hotshot S&C team and then unleash him!

depends entirely on the role that they're playing. bailey will "probably" be 30+ when we're "in contention" but his finals series was unbelievable as the trasitional hff + midfield rotation.

weddle is a bit of a jack of all trades, played well in defence and in the forward line throughout it, too.

Personally I feel we have already a contract and wage in front of Weddle. He may of already signed and it’s unannounced. No inside info, just how Hawks do things.

I doubt it will take 2M to keep at a club going for premierships. My feel it will be over 1.3-1.5 a season, maybe 3-4 years to keep him at the Hawks.

Cannot see Day going any where other than home.

weddle is a bit of a jack of all trades, played well in defence and in the forward line throughout it, too.

I love Weddle on the wing! His ability allows him to be receiver from kick out. His pace allows him to help defence and run forward at to the 50m arch for shots on goals. Weddle is a BEAST.

Or, because he will be out of contract, pre season draft. You know, the thing you are about to do with Zach Merrett because he was also out of contract.

You are being poison pilled. Pay him and he will be overpaid and it will impact your ability to retain either him or someone like a Cam McKenzie type, don't pay him and run the risk that he takes the money and runs.
