Couldn't disagree with this anymore.

Yes we plucked him out of the SANFL and gave him his chance but that was 6 years ago and he has more then repaid the faith we put in him.

He has consistently accepted low $ contracts and was about to be paid less then a fringe player (Aleer).

Doggies came knocking and came hard at him, although he got a rise out of it he still took significant unders to stay at the club. In an era where loyalty is more and more on the out by both players and clubs (as seen with us moving on our captain) I definitely don't think what Wilkie did was un-loyal or undeserving of captaincy.

You are telling me nothing new that your standards are exactly where i know them to be.

I don't reckon Pou has really established himself yet and needs to have a big 2026- hoping he can keep the on field.

Ross loves him thus i fear he will continue to get a free ride. Here's hoping for a strong summer so he can put his best foot forward.

You're a legend Joffa. I'll get to a few sessions. I usually just look at the recruits plus the guys coming back from injury. Any more than that and it becomes a blur.
Anyway I'm in Hawaii at the moment so it will all have to wait until I get back.

Ok noted mate. Initial thoughts were on the injured players from last year.
Theoretically the 4 recruits and the four injured are starting 23.
As Remboy said training gets a bit overwhelming with 44 blokes on the field doing different training drills, especially with no numbers.
Have been there and posted a player was missing when he was there all training.
Anyway saintmike, theJackal, Remboy and others are pretty good at the analytical stuff which I dont find as interesting as what's happening to an individual player or what level they are up to.

Yeh thats fair its a big undertaking (and i love the reports so appreciate the effort) I reckon Camma, full pre season, give him the FB role and resign Dougal to depth but that is just IMO.

He played there most of this season and without any genuine support or pre season was as good as Dougal.
