On Firestorm tonight if capturing A I kept getting beamed by some prick with an SMG on the roof of B (I think? closer to the refinery part) about 80m away. Once or twice a game I can shake it off but he kept doing it to the point it was actually getting bullshit.

I do really like Liberation as you can get a good fix of CQC and vehicle play, I'm also a fan of Mirak Valley for similar reasons.

Really not a fan of Empire State or New Sobek City

It depends on the game mode. I play a lot of Rush and Breakthrough where I don't mind Sobek and Mirak but don't like them for conquest. I like Liberation Peak for conquest but dislike it for rush.

I am absolutely loving the gauntlet mode in the Redsec section.
Its such a nice change up to normal game modes.

I really do hope that the next few maps they release for season 2 onwards are quite a bit larger though and they sort out their vehicle play but I'm still having a lot of fun on it.

Mirak Valley the best by far IMO.

Much like Golmud Railway there’s a number of battle zones within the map which can be their own little map, whether it’s the two buildings central, Flag C, the flag in the middle of the BF1 terrain…. You can spend most of your game in one area of the map, having multiple battles.

Larger maps all the better for this reason.
