Anyone else see this from Zak Brown?

I Dont Believe You Will Ferrell GIF
I saw this yesterday on Reddit. It felt like softening the public ahead of telling Piastri that they would favour Lando going into the final triple header.

Or the fact that now that Lando is ahead and with all the momentum, they will be "Hands off, you're free to fight".... something many here predicted would happen if Lando regained the lead

Piastri could help himself by leaving Brazil as the championship leader

So there is a chance Oscar may podium this week.

Grilld have finally canned their promo that if Oscar is on the podium, there is a special on his burger. He has not podiumed since the promo.

Now he just has to race! :tearsofjoy:

Interesting first runs in Q3 for the sprint race. Mercedes right up there

No one near Norris. P1. Piastri 2 tenths back, P3.

Very RB-esque. Norris' car looks so much nicer everywhere. Not much wheel work needed, where everyone else is catching slides or understeery

Clean lap from Oscar and still almost 2 tenths off the pace on a short track like Interlagos. Pack it up. Barring a Norris DNF it’s all over for 2025.

He's starting to look like he's barnstorming to the end of the year.

He may have the undivided support of the team propping him up, but seizing an opportunity and making it count is one of the hallmarks of a WDC. This isn't 2023/24 when Lando would bottlejob a situation that's been handed to him.

Yeah, fair play to Lando. Most people thought he wouldn't have the composure once the whips were cracking but he's gone from strength to strength since his unlucky DNF at Zandvoort with only Azerbaijan as a minor blip.

Seems to be that Oscar is liking the mediums more than the softs. Considering Red Bull were the only ones to run the softs in practice I would think if it is a dry race the hard and medium will be the tyres of choice.
