Delisted Callum Ah Chee - Joins Adelaide via the PSD

Gentlemen, denial about the shortcomings of Adelaide’s underfunded and poorly run academy is the longest road traveled. Accountability will take you far.
The South Aussie academies can only have indigenous or diverse background players. Your Academy can just choose the best talent. Massive advantage to your club in regards to free access to talent from academies.

Don’t tell me lack of accountability is a South Australian trait. Say it ain’t so?

Free access from non-footy state vs spotting NGA talent in a footy state. I think your talent spotters are taking the easy way out here, blaming others.

I'd say Port is getting smarter with their moves now, getting Dougie Cochrane as a late addition into their academy is a win.

Cameron & Doedee both left for more money... just like Ah Chee

The only difference was the Crows fans didn't dummy spit
Thats laughable. I live in adelaide and the amount of moaning that happened from guys I work with was unbelievable. Not to mention when Gunston, McGoven and Tippet left. They had high level sooks on lmao

If you really lived in Adelaide you would know the vast majority of Adelaide supporters were happy at the time to get compensation for an injury prone Doedee (as wanted Worrell to play more games) & were happy that we got Fogarty for Cameron pick.

McGovern leaving for double the money and giving us Pick 13 was great for us, however we did waste that on moving up for McAsey. Moving Tippet was just clearing cap space.

Every example you have used we received something back in a trade with the opposing team. In the instance with Ah Chee, you, as Brisbane, receive nothing.

You seem to conduct a lot of surveys Kane-o. Really got your finger on the pulse of the ‘majority of crows fans’. Good to see.

Not to mention 1.4 million in the first year alone. Payday Ah Chee ! Front loading is always a risk considering his wife is from Gold Coast / QLD and it leaves a family reason open to go back. For now, Crom have to do whatever they need to so he can fall through PSD to them.

Yup, but even that has benefits, seeing it frees up money next offseason.

You must have heaps of money in the cap.

That's the point, you don't need to spend any draft capital.

There are other considerations which come into play. The big one at the moment is Callum Ah Chee shares the same manager as Nasiah Wanganeen Milera; who it feels like the SA football world is waiting to hit free agency in two years. On top of that there are mechanisms in place that allow Ah Chee and his management to veto any PSD pick and force his way to Adelaide. It's a fair bit of risk for what could be a mid-second round pick.

Genuine cancer to the main board. Should have been banned long ago.

Don’t mind Arty everyone he’s harmless. He’s just trying to get his post count up to 200,000

What are these Veto mechanisms?

I'd be interested to know what they are.

I'm sure you will get him, but I still think Port should try.
