I still am not sure about getting rid of picks in 20s.
It is such an even draft.
I don’t rate sweid or El Acktar and would prefer a draft haul of something like sharp, cumming, marsh, Le ray and Onley.
I also have my doubts about x Taylor.
I watched Jesse Meillor give him headaches, his kick is suspect and is he a real need for us?
McGrath, Roberts, McKay, Ridley, Reid and redman decent back 6 with prior, Nguyen, Clarke and Hayes as depth. Cox could be added to that list as well.
I would prefer us to target midfield and forward half players.

I think it’s more likely the price was too high. We had 3 picks. North had two.

Don’t think any other teams were overly interested in moving up/in to this draft.

We get safely in front of our academy players and can trade back in for points if they aren’t selected too high.

Does anyone know about Sam Allen? ACL this year but very athletic and would have ranked higher if not for injury. Would likely be a winger at AFL level. ESPN had him ranked in the top 50 I saw as well.

There wernt a tonne of options thats for sure. Not many wanting to rid an F1 unless for known player which aint happening with the Crows/Pies for Blues pick 9

North at 11(15) for thredgold or Schubert id say. Could well be a midfielder as well to be honest

Eagles F2, 34, 41 i wonder if that gives them enough to over ride our picks, for pick 9+54 (Maybe theyre set on a T.Williams match)

We're getting a better pick and I'd rather keep our f2 for what is supposed to be a better draft.

Our picks in the 20s have so many good players that trading up for pick 9 makes no sense. I’d rather have 3 of Marsh, NHH, Phillipou, Schubert, Pickett, Barker and Addinsal than Dovostan. Plus pick 43 doesn’t even fully guarantee you having enough points for Sweid.

Because 9 is worth more than 11 so we throw in pick 30.

Everyone says this draft is a crap shoot past the first round but there's so many good players available at our end of first and second round picks?

This year I'm breaking down the draft guide into more manageable chunks. This first section covers the top 9 players which I'm calling tier 1 and tier 2. There will most likely be two more videos, the next one covering the remainder of the top 20ish and followed by a third video covering the deeper prospects.

Rather than doing a strict numbered list I'm instead breaking them down into tier groupings. Within the tiers I consider the prospects to be very similar in talent level, so if you're a fan of a club with a pick that falls in that part of the draft you can get some info on the types available and which players may best suit your list needs.

They are just rumours and speculation. We have been linked to like CDT, Robey, Taylor, Cumming, Sharp and Grlj but it's all rumours and hearsay. Tigers as usual keeping things pretty tight so I dont think anyone knows which way we are leaning which is good from a Richmond perspective.

Dovaston fills an area of need.

but there are still likely players rated higher of him still on the board like Farrow.

Also means if a club is desperate for one of those kids they might sell the farm to get up the order even though the tuggers weren’t actually going to pick them
