Elite overhead for his size, kicking almost elite, athleticism and mobility very good, good tank

Game style like Jeremy Cameron in that he certainly gets on his bike and roams up the ground and can slot them ftom outside 50, others have compared him to Jack Gunston.

Perhaps one answer to that is why not? We've spent several years loading up on young talent, which because we're so young we have trouble getting games in to, so why not take fewer picks for the moment, easing the get games into them issue and push later picks forward a few drafts, ideally picking up some value along the way for say 5 years time when we need to start our next build.

Having a lot of kids is cheaper, is one reason

What’s the point of having a draft? I’m fine with the father sons, but what I’m not fine with is the high end players getting taken by the academy which is diluting the overall draft pool where clubs like Suns or Swans have to pay nothing.

There's no difference between GS and Academies. If you're ok with FS, should be ok with the other.

Get rid of all of them I say

Honestly he is nothing like Curtin.

Curtin is a genuine KPP/Ruck, Marsh is a mobile 3rd tall forward type....Tom Lynch (Crows) perhaps but a better athlete.

A better athlete? I don't think there was a fitter player than lynch... big call

Absolutely a better athlete than 10 goal Tommy, quicker and better agility, better overhead mark, more penetrating boot as well,. Athletically Tom a better tank but Marsh is also very good endurance wise.

What's yet to be seen is only how it transfers to AFL football and btw no way am I putting Tom's AFL achievenenys down either.

It's not a big call if you've actually watched a lot of Marsh play.

To my eye of watching twenty years of three minute highlights of hundreds of these kids (as well as coaching for yonks and playing for yonkser) Mitch Marsh looks bloody fantastic and will have a very good afl career wherever he goes. And I’m going short Buddy Franklin as my comparison.

His kicking is super elite

Already kicks goals from 60m and has barely done a leg weight

Very accurate too and also laces guys out over distance with his field kick

Endurance is elite for role too

is under developed with huge ceiling / upside

Is Mitch McGovern a good comparison, but Marsh has a better fitness base?

Is he just a forward or he can play other positions? I know he rucked in under 18's but can't do that at AFL.
