I wonder if we would’ve taken Phillipou anyway. Kondo is a very different player.

Sort of hoped we’d take a chance on Kickett. Gotta give the indigenous boys a crack at it when they’ve got something special in the kit bag. Plus I’d love some more of that sort of exciting forward play at our club again.

Id say we keep pushing back to last pick of draft

Tall fwds this deep aint a need

We have that much amount of quality with guys like May, McMahon, Tom Edwards, Harry Jones types matched to this type of level.... unless.... we just rate Ludowyke or Heatherton so much higher than this spot

Yes, he was right under our nose, but since he's gone to Norwood he has gone from strength to strength, kicking goals, accumulating footy and bringing defensive intent through tackle pressure.

This is an incredible pull by me, not gonna lie.

Cody Curtin picked up by Lions, thought he was meant to be slow. ran a fast 2km time for a tall.

I think it was more we where interested in getting a bit of size into out midfield and the trade off for Grlj speed was Farrow who is generally a good user from half back and an attacking player.

Yeah, we had a clear mandate from Rosa to get big mids who can compete. How good is it to see genuine size and hunger for the contest on our list. They made Scott look like a midget!

No guarantees but at least they will have a crack and stand up in a contested situation.

Think Sharp is ready made to come straight in.

Kondo has the tools to become one of the better kicks in the team, attacking minded half back, can swing forward and kick goals. Will develop physically. Durable and has leadership ability.
