What I find interesting about this pick is how targeted it was by us.

Rhy said last night that we will absolutely get our player no matter what other clubs do.

Has good balance and moves sharply in traffic, good goal sense.

And on the younger side like Alger was.

Love that he accumulates the ball too, doesn’t rely on impact possessions, actually pushes up and gets involved.

What's the point when list spots are limited? In a weak draft, nobody is offering 'overs' for pick-31..no-one is offering a decent F2 to get pick-31. So are you suggesting we trade pick-31 for what, picks 40 and 49? For what? To have a player we like Peucker potentially taken from 31-39? Or is he isn't taken 31-39, what then? Take him at 40....and have 49 sitting there to use. Didn't you see use trade a 2026 future 5th to get a pick to get NRT at #52?

So all that can happen by trading down in a weak draft to multiple lower picks is you miss the player you want. Isn't that stupid?

Fans have every right to respectfully question and debate the clubs decision.

Pick 31 is a very valuable pick especially when you factor in the players in the open pool.

Yeah/Nah.
We employ people too watch all these kids while mugs like us go over vids on you tube.
In fact most of the 2nd rnd was made up of smokies early on not to mention to popular phantom draft kids in Greeves & NHH missed out.
After all it's only a number on draft night.

Under 18s needs to go to under 19s and kids should be drafted in the year after year 12.
