Does anyone go around where they live at night and look at Christmas lights? Depends where you live but in my town we have a Christmas Lights competition and has a map of all the houses that have lights so it’s easy to find them all even though we basically know where they all are!

We have just moved - so we are noticing all different ones than we normally would have. Partly because of the new location but partly because we are running around getting and moving stuff and needing to go out and buy new things for the new place - so we are out and about a bit more.

Good ting the Muppets weren’t made in Australia. The children would have grown up with issues.

Watch The classic Muppet Show on Disney Plus. Its a lot more filthy, than you assume, ffull of double entendres that flew over my head as a kid but as an adult, oh boy wow wee.

We drove around Ivanhoe a few years ago. That area does lots of decorations on their big houses. A lot of them are hard to see because in Australia people have walled compounds. 🤨😆

We’ve found an area where we now own our own home that goes all Griswald. It’s so nice to see. Our house is decorated, for sure. It’s like a beacon in the wilderness. Nobody on our street decorates. I love the lights! Too bad darkness is so short this time of year here. Back home, 4:30 or 5:00 those lights were on until we went to bed. 😍

This was our house last year. It’s a bit different this year, but you get the idea. It’s cheery and says merry Christmas and welcome in my eyes. 🙂

We use to do our house too but we don’t anymore bc my dad is too old and has a lot of health issues so is unable to do them now. Which is sad but I use to have photos of it on my device but since have a new device so don’t have them anymore otherwise I would share too!

Mr. Strig does most of the hanging of lights…I do the supervisory role. 🤭

It doesn't feel much like Christmas yet. Possibly I'm just so busy at work and moving house and stuff, possibly because the weather is so shit. Not sure...
Could be all of the above. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I got the bug kind of early this year. 😄

We’re inviting the family over for a feast.
Since it’s Boxing Day, my invitations will be boxing themed. :laughv1:

For me, its a festival of NBA action for me (although am going to the Soccer Derby at AAMI Park that night, come on Melbourne City !l)

We missed on tickets to the Test on Boxing Day so I and many others, will gather around my enormous TV, drink beer. eat too much totally unhealthy food, open many Coonawarra Reds and Mrs DP will run for cover at DFO and may flee to her sister's place. She is a most intelligent woman.
Friends from South Australia will sleep over.
Life will be good.

We tend to set up 2 screens. NBA on one, cricket on the other.
Airconditioner, a few beers and an afternoon nap. Life's good.

I just went to the Enchanted Gardens which happens every Xmas. Better than looking at Xmas lights on houses. They put light all through the trees and bushes. It’s epic

The A League/Premier League Boxing Day fixtures are also brilliant, except that one year that Ultra Thug Melbourne Victory 'supporter' got onto the field and smashed our goalkeeper head's (Tommy Glover) with a bucket in one of the most disgraceful scenes in Aussie Sporting History
