Yea I know that was a bit cynical, but for a player who had no NFL conditioning for the last 5 years, I have idea how he is going to survive without picking up some form of soft tissue injury.

I hope I am proven wrong, and rivers just makes me look silly. I can get behind the colts doing well.

I wouldn’t be worrying about getting a soft tissue injury. I know rivers was a tough SOB but you get to a point and you dont wanna be getting popped anymore. 5 years without being in the game and at 44 I’d have a guess he’s going to be at that point and it’s all just mental determination/motivation in his head atm which will dissapear after those first few hits

Must need the money to pay for all those kids and grandkids or something
All about the records, big fella, all about the stats...

Strange there is so many late slate games with none kicking off at 4:05 this week.

It's him or Rypien, and lets hope they mic him up dagnabit

It's the most wholesome trash talk and G rated swearing in the game. Shoot, dagummit.

Its a rare double double header weekend where both CBS and Fox have games in both windows nation wide. so obviously no 4:05 regional action. We also get it in week 18.

Doesnt look like the Texans/Chargers will be on TV but the noon game has a slot on ESPN. early game has the 2nd half of a bowl game on ESPN and then filler UFC junk and NFL Blitz

The Eagles D is the bigger worry. they are still keeping the O in the game. but are now giving up more then 1 TD a game unlike last month.
The D is not the biggest worry in the slightest. They've done exceptionally well to keep us in most games all season long.

Nothing will top the offense as being the biggest worry, by a looooooong way.

I was more talking about the decline in the last few weeks because the O i feel is a lost cause. they are no longer able to bail the incompetent offence out because they are giving up more then 10 points a game now. Offence is a black hole. and has been all year.

When a defense can play as good as the eagles were a month ago is when teams with incompetent offences can still win in playoffs. but with a good but not unstoppable d its hard to win against teams that are not brain dead. which might be a false economy this week vs the raiders. but also might get some confidence back into players.

Last month around the Packers and Lions games the D was good enough to win playoff games even with the O being useless. but the last 3 weeks they have dropped off and not playing well enough to win against good teams with how the Offense has played.

I said it last month if the Eagles defense drops off a little bit the season can quickly snowball because of how irrelevant the offense is.

It's a rare "everyone's a winner" especially as it looked for all money that Goff was going to be scrapped as soon as it was possible
Detroit just need a SB to genuinely make that trade even.

Although even without it, I'd say Goff (and co) have given Detroit more hope and entertainment than they'd had in years.
