For his age and ability I'm more than happy with four years.

4+ years really is the going rate for any young player with talent in the current climate. I'd be hesistant if we were chucking out a 6-7 year deal, but four is fine

Wasn't Kentfield a mid season pick up also? Hoping we see similar things from him this season where he breaks into the best 22.

Yep he was. Apparently with a clear run at pre season he is looking fit too.

I had the same thoughts, and then realised I could count the years on one hand . We are already looking at the 30s.

I feel like Covid has totally distorted my perception of time. The last few years since have felt like a blur.

Yeah it’s like a whole chunk went missing. During lockdowns I thought I was never going to forget what it was like. I haven’t entirely forgotten, but it doesn’t feel entirely real now

It's weird that covid is just part of everyday lives now, like the flu. Also it was quite strange how quickly it became normalised. Like I remember having to isolate for two at the start of 22 because my partner got covid, I never actually got it. This was just after the Bulldogs game on a Wednesday night. I was kind of glad because I was too tired to go to work the next day. Anyway fast forward to the finals and being at a packed mcg and covid was the furtherest thing from my mind. I'm not even sure when that isolation rule was scrapped.

I think this is actually what happened with the Flu originally. Aren't all the flu variants we have now derived from the Spanish flu?

Thing with viruses is that they end up being naturally selected to be less deadly and more contagious since that's the ideal condition for them to spread.
