I concur completely. My best mate's wife is only 58, and she's been struck down with ever worsening dementia. She'll walk into a room and tell him something, and then say the same thing less than 5 minutes later. The whole ordeal is really wearing him down.Dementia is a cruel cruel disease mate. My dad had Alzheimer so we lost him along time ago. I totally understand watching the decline of a loved one. They stop being the person you loved and remember so fondly.
Like others have said. My pm is always open bc I have lived through this. My dad passed away a few weeks ago from cancer and as horrible as it sounds - it was an absolute blessing bc living with a disease that effects your brain/memory is no way to live mate.
Sending you a massive hug![]()
Sry to hear of your troubles Elmer_HauserAppreciate it sir, i have too many problems/issues to rant with another BF poster, as much as i respect and love ya pal.
Means so much that you care though.
My main crux is seeing my Mother's rapid decline from dementia, i don't think anyone can so or do anything to make it better (i was always a Mummy's boy)
