10mm of rain in 12 minutes. Some big trees down around the place and a few streets turned into rivers.

Did feel like I was in Darwin for about an hour. Either side of that you wouldn't have known a storm was coming/had been through.

I heard this morning there were about a hundred thousand homes in Perth that lost power due to that thunderstorm yesterday.

Thankfully that wasn't in my area, losing power especially when it's a stinking hot day can be a nightmare with no aircon or fans.

can always head to the local shops! unless you need a car to do that and you have an electric car with no charge!

Went from 39 at 2.30pm to 22 at 4pm back up to 26 at midnight.

That storm certainly was something. Had to huddle in the stadium train station until we could make a dash for the ground. Then it cleared and the game was good.

No good if your local was Carousel...most of the centre had no power, aircon wasn't working (place was like a sauna this morning) since 4 yesterday

I recently sold my 4 x 2 in a leafy northern suburb due to the shit that went into the social housing in the house on my battle axe block. Was happy to downsize as its just me and the dog.

Feel your pain. Only takes one really bad group of tenants to ruin a neighbourhood and it's impossible to get them kicked out no matter what they do.

And yet another visit from the police asking for me to check my cameras because someone got assaulted in the street last Friday.

I reckon this has happened 20+ times.
