We need our promising young players to develop beyond what Simpkin can deliver. gifting games is if he was pick 25 (Zane)... playing your pick 4 from a SUPER draft is not gifting games. It's an absurd notion.

Pies 2027 R1 would have gotten it done I think, despite our we want two late 1sts.

Our best case scenario is players emerge/improve enough that Jy is marginalised and anything we get in trade in 2026 is a bonus. Our best case might be a 2026 2nd giving back a 3rd in that scenario as the 2027 draft will be a joke.

Who's he got covered? Schimma, Greig, Law, Carey, Stevens, Swallow, Ziebell, Harvey, Simmo, Dench, Larkin, Barry Davis? Even Happy Meal. None of them at all. Ever. Even Kearney and Garner have him covered. Yeah yeah I know, word twist. Someone has emerged to remove him from his preferred spot, which is the reason why he sooked up and went panting at other clubs. We were offered less than what we paid for Caleb Daniel, probably less than what we paid for Charlie Spargo .... there's some honest appraisal. The only bloke who reckons he's gonna walk into any other club is the bloke he kisses in the mirror every morning.

Wont happen, hasn't got it in him. Even if he has a great year, won't make any difference to us. He's 5'9, 78kg and can kick 37m (not straight).

It's idiotic to think a good season from slow fraud will assist us in any way.

I'm sure he's at home, waving his free Palestine banner, celebrating Yasser Arafat's Noble Peace Prize. That's our boy.
