I reckon if he played all season in the SANFL. He’d go close to winning the Magarey Medal.Mead's not too good for local. That's his level. If his name was Jackson Volt he wouldn't be on an afl list anywhere

He'd definitely be one of the top players in the SANFL there's no doubt about that.I reckon if he played all season in the SANFL. He’d go close to winning the Magarey Medal.
Cripps is building back up a lot of goodwill in my books this offseason. Way less desperation in how we’ve gone about it, at a time where we have to be careful balancing the players tied to us in future drafts. The players we've traded in or could still bring in via SSP are all shrewd moneyball gets IMO and complement what was already on our list well. To me, Carr and Cripps have shown good list management skills in how they've gone about things these past few months.
He plays in the afl as the player he is.. no good. If he plays regularly this year we are in trouble.. he’s a plodderHe'd definitely be one of the top players in the SANFL there's no doubt about that.
Mead's big issue is for some reason he's never played like he belongs at AFL level, he probably has it in him, but for some reason he plays like someone with a shit tonne of self doubt, and someone that just can't raise his intensity to the level required, meaning simple errant handballs, fumbles, poor kicks, as he just can't flick that high intensity AFL switch. He wouldn't be the first player that hasn't lifted to the next level despite being at the top of the SANFL tree.
At SANFL level that problem isn't there and his natural skill and ability are clearly up to the level.
Yes because he’s not trying to make silk from a sows ear like donuts demanded for 10 yearsCripps is building back up a lot of goodwill in my books this offseason. Way less desperation in how we’ve gone about it, at a time where we have to be careful balancing the players tied to us in future drafts.
