Wonder if we can get pick 2 in the IPL draft if we trade him to India? He is the cricket equivalent of Oscar Allen - in looks, ability and career to date.
Should've had another one that over too
Hotspot got shown the door due to how expensive it is, being a military grade technology. It was also easily circumvented, there was rumours that batters would rub Vasoline on the edge of their bats to avoid edges showing up. Fibreglass tape on the edges of the bat had a similar effect.I haven't seen it yet as listening on the radio but this is becoming farcical. Surely the ICC can mandate that Snicko must be used in conjunction with Hot Spot for all Tests. If the broadcaster cant stump up for it then I'm sure they can find a broadcaster who is willing to pay for it.
Also, I reckon the umpires have not followed protocol there. If he went upstairs to determine a fair catch then that must assume he has adjudicated it as being hit. In that case there needs to be enough evidence to overturn the initial decision that there was bat involved. It seems the umpire didn't make a determination either way.
**** sake, Poms will be whinging for days after that

Reckon that was just it being in between frames, looks like it went past the bottom of the bat on the super slow moBy days you mean years yeah
Tbf, might have been a touch stiff on that decision as it looked like there was a gap between bat and ball even if the spike on snicko correlated to ball passing bat
Crazy that even with technology and DRS, there remains controversial decisions
It's Jamie Smith, he'd have given another 10 chances before he got to 50.**** sake, Poms will be whinging for days after that
At least the poms have their excuse to claim the moral ashes again.
