Batsman should have a good idea. Was just that he is a newbie in the team that he didn’t feel confident to use a review

If he gets given out at State or Club level like that he is storming back to the rooms about how far that pitched outside leg

I’m not a lefty but a lefty would know when it pitches at that length, where it’s not very full, it’s very likely pitched outside. Awful decision from the umps who I think have been generally poor throughout the game and series but if he wasn’t in his third Test and still feeling like an outsider he is reviewing that 100 times out of 100

I’ll give the English a slight due, they haven’t thrown in the towel this game despite being outplayed. They bowled ok Day 1, they fought out a late partnership to get within 100, didn’t let the Australian innings get out of hand yesterday and cleaned up the innings well, now hanging around.
