Anyone think a black and white Brisbane jumper would go kinda hard? The bronco's did one this year and it was a huge success. And we're not playing with stripes here, so Collingwood couldn't cry; even if they wanted too.

I don’t hate the idea of Brisbane in White with maroon and gold, so long as it’s done right. I’m thinking very similar to Broncos away jerseys, or even 1998 Broncos home.

Might help if they needed a white clash jumper

This is the only 30 year recognition I know of

Freo called its Retro in 2024 its 30 year guernsey and wore the inaugural home jumper but yeah it didn't actually say 30 on it

It broke the trend of wearing a new retro each year since the retro came back in 2019 (which was celebrating the 25th year)

That's the worst take I've ever heard, we should never wear a jumper in the old enemy's colours. Having a black and white major sponsor is bad enough.

To be fair our combo from a few years ago (where all had lions) in the current scheme was pretty much our best kit heritage-wise. Combined home, Roy away and Bears clash, can't really go wrong with it.

Yeah I like the Bears Pyramid for nostalgia reasons only, and would have liked our Roy away this year to be FFC (just to have a complete set), but our kits are still in a really good place.

The broncos didn’t wear a “black and white” kit they wore an all black kit designed to raise awareness of the black dog institute (the only white logos on the jersey as agreed with all sponsors).

I’d be all for an afl team doing it and yes it looked cool but it was for an amazing cause and shouldn’t be reduced down to “they wore a black kit”.

Our current clash jumper with the BB monogram replaced with the Lion would be perfect. Prior to last year I wanted the blue yoke at the back of the home to be like the 2001-03 design, but winning two flags since has softened that stance.

Brisbane don't need a white guernsey, they have warm and cool colours that can contrast with every team's home guernseys.

Currently have a problem with GWS however and a white jumper would resolve that. Just generally however I do like what the Broncos have done with some recent away designs, so I wouldn't hate if Lions tried white again

No, a blue guernsey like Fitzroy's 1995-96 preseason guernsey which is one of their colours would solve that.

Brisbane in a blue guernsey would just feel wrong, white is technically a Brisbane colour through the Bears.

Can’t understand why Brisbane away jumper is not the Fitzroy jumper with the FFC is replaced by BFC in the same style.

Can someone make this to see how it looks?

Also should be blue or red shorts depending on the opponent.
