Rocc's average is 28 with a similar strike rate (also insane for a finger spinner)

But he's bowled twice as many balls as Murphy, so given the difference in averages, Murphy is also keeping the runs down, which I think is better against England.

All that tells me is play the guy with more wickets. Rocc is also playing in a woeful WA side sorry WA fans but it’s true. He’s getting wickets despite that.

I wouldn’t have played either in Melbourne probably. It’s mainly get them around the squad for Sydney.

Give Webster a solid go and if he doesn’t make runs after a while then you look at possible changes, like should happen with any player. Green had that go and didn’t take his chance.

But we have this constant talk of preparing the next generation of players - hell, just 3 or 4 posts above that was used to justify Green staying in regardless of his form and output.

Yet our 37yo spinner has just ripped his hammy off the bone, probably won't play again for Aus, we have 2 dead rubbers against an all at sea Poms outfit, and we don't want to try and even attempt to find our next spinner?
