Well thats some coal in the stocking. How come?

Let’s ask this

Who is getting more wickets tomorrow Richo, Neser or Murphy?

The first two easily. Is Head that much worse as a spinner when all he’ll be needed to do is chip in 10-20 overs max?

we named a XII and he's not in it.

Australia XII for fourth Test: Travis Head, Jake Weatherald, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith (c), Usman Khawaja, Alex Carey (wk), Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc, Scott Boland, Brendan Doggett, Michael Neser, Jhye Richardson

Play 4 quicks (maybe scared Jhye will break down with feels is 50/50), but somehow Green survives?

Joke of a selection

Green was always staying in. We’ve won the series. Give him this series and next then calls can be made.

Not saying either way but least then we have given him every chance

We’re got Head, Marnus and Smith that can all roll the arm over serviceably

Yep. Sydney a bit different and obviously if Lyon was there we wouldn’t do this but is a bloke who has 10 shield wickets this year really getting more than Jyhe or Neser?

So if he makes two single digit scores and takes say 1 wicket for runs, he stays in at the SCG?

It's a crazy mindset that he's a lock for an entire series given his very minimal output.

Green must have photos.
And the Slug must have rooted someone's daughter.

Green is still being picked for his "batting" which in sure the Slug family and friends find very comical (along with most of Aus)

Like it or not age is a factor here. Webster is unlucky but we aren’t playing two all rounders. Webster needed to smash the door down domestically this summer he hasn’t. People can say oh it’s only 3 matches and I get it but that’s what he needed to do.

He’ll stay in the rest of this series. There’s no advantage dropping him now. Where does he go to find form and don’t say Big Bash…he can slot in at 7 and can be settled there

How did that how Adelaide when looking for wickets? How many chances did Head and Marnus create?

We may not be in a position to try and buy a part timer wicket

Murphy isn’t that much better and likely to run through sides. We shouldn’t need a spinner on a pitch that suits quicks

Agreed. The series is locked away so 4 potential knocks with not as much pressure attached might unlock his form. As much as Bigfooty hates him he’s part of Australia’s plans for the next decade
