This English team is collapsing faster than the Berlin Wall .
The collapse was fast, but the Berlin wall stood for almost 40 years, no English teams of the past could reach that period of consistency (For the record this is a dumb internet forum, but Berlin wall = bad and I'm not calling it's longevity a net positive)

ngl, we've been okay this series, england has just performed worse.

But i honestly thought after Adelaide and retaining the ashes we've maybe celebrated a little to hard afterwards on the shortest turn around so far in the series. Maybe I'm reading to far into it but i don't feel we prepared as well for boxing day the same as we did the last three tests and i feel that it's showing a little today

If we're sloppy in the field I'm claiming this

Imagine being the MCG catering manager . Place orders for 5 days ,4 days , 3 days . Suppliers would not be happy if they have stocked up and now it looks like a 2-3 day test.
England had Australia on toast , and still managed to screw it up , again. This match could go anywhere tomorrow , its 50/50 .

A lot of frozen shit they can just hold until BBL games resume, drinks shouldn't be an issue

Honestly if i was the MCG and i was worried about all that food spoiling i'd send it to a foodbank or donate it for good pr, and because it would be a good thing to do

Years ago the MCG was accused of having a batathon pitch. Between now and then it's mostly been alright. Now though it swung to a bowlers pitch

So , can these batsmen make this test go into day 3 ? . If both teams bat like yesterday i doubt it . While i think the pitch was a bit too bowler friendly , so what ? Makes a change from some of the roads bowlers have to work on .

Boland is rivalling ANB as my favourite mouth breather.

Playing a summer sport he must swallow a million flies.

Not that upset at today’s loss. Another win would’ve papered over a lot of cracks in our batting line up.

Our batting stocks are seriously thin.

Yep. England are pathetic mentally but they have way better long term prospects than we do.

Imagine if our batting had to face our bowling in a test?
