Smith needs to be criticized for this captaincy performance not only batting selfishly & not taking the strike but bad Bowling decisions, Boland came on far too late, and he kept bowling Neser who was leaking runs.

Richardson has near bowled as well as Boland. Just too busy bowling Neser.

Bowling Neser after tea over Starc or Richardson that relieved all pressure on Bethell was one of those real head scratching analysts having too much input “he got him out in the 1st innings” decisions made during a break in play.

Cummins has another 5 years minimum.

I don’t think the doom and gloom is warranted. We have some absolutely insane talents coming through in Beardman and Vidler.

Surely 1-2 of Richardson, Bartlett, Morris, Johnson, Meredith and O’Neill are test standard and can keep fit.
