Yep,
I'm considering punting O'reilly in defense in a week or 2 to get Cherki in Mid.
I think Pep has finally realised Cherki unlocks a lot of attacking options especially against low blocks, even if he doesn't necessarily want that kind of player normally.
I think Cherki in real life is in the top 5 players in the league. He is deadset a baller.

I’m still not convinced he’s a great FPL pick but holy shit this guy is some footballer.Enjoy watching Cherki too much to be without him.
I don’t like double Chelsea defence. I don’t really like Chelsea defence at all but at least it’s a home fixture and James offers attacking potential.Thoughts, Theories?
Current team, and rough plan over next month (GW19 - 22, until AFCON is done and the midweek games end for a bit, and presumably no DGW or BGW).

Priority outs:
1. Senesi - essentially any time, likely to get good minutes and Defcons, but no clean sheet any time soon
2. NoR / VVD after next GW - either/ both
3. Grealish - bad pick really
4. Thiago - from 22 onwards
Priority ins:
1. Utd defender asap - Dorgu or Dalot unsure, probably Dorgu to save money
2. Cunha
3. Gabriel after 21.
4. Palmer after 21
5. Watkins - I think he is back, and will be good value especially from 22, but any time from 20 really.

2.2 ITB, 1 FT
So probably thinking
19:
Senesi to United
And maybe Grealish to Cunha for a hit
And then hopefully
20-22:
Thiago to Watkins
VVD to Gabriel
and probably need to be Saka to Palmer
But going to be short on cash!
lots to ponder. i'll look again before lock out.I don’t like double Chelsea defence. I don’t really like Chelsea defence at all but at least it’s a home fixture and James offers attacking potential.
not sure how James and Frimpong will go backing up midweek. do they get managed?
Other than that I like it. It’s very similar to what I’ve thrown together.

the front 2 are locked.
so is the midfield except for Szobo who could be Cherki, Schade, Palmer, Rice, Bruno G, Saka
in defence the only one locked is Dalot. I’ve got no idea where to go with the other 2 or GK. do I cover the Arsenal defence or bet against it? fullbacks for attacking returns or centre backs for DC? Gabriel, Keane, VVD, Lewis-Potter, Hall, Thiaw, NOR, Dorgu all decent options.
I hate doing this already. I know I’m going to **** it up…it’s so much easier when you can play it in a blank/double.
be careful with Pope. I don’t know if he’s fit enough to start yet. That’s why I have Ramsdale too.
Palmer wasn't happy getting hauled off, which is good news to me.be careful with Pope. I don’t know if he’s fit enough to start yet. That’s why I have Ramsdale too.
Palmers minutes are a concern.
Anti-FPL (lowest score wins). I’m not sure how it works but I know it’s a thing.Any wild and wacky ideas to have fun with it?
You are probably right. My other captain choices this year have been shocking. Hopefully the only way is up.Anti-FPL (lowest score wins). I’m not sure how it works but I know it’s a thing.
No Haaland
Different captain every week.
Only pick Welsh players.
….there’s a ton of possibilities.
If you still want to aim for the best rank possible then back your gut, keep it simple and things will turn. Chasing rank almost always backfires.
We’re only halfway through the season with blanks and doubles to come. There will be opportunity for big swings. A top 100k finish is still on the cards.
