Thieves are using a new method to steal Toyotas, Landcruisers are being heavily targeted by disconnecting a headlight or side indicator to gain access to the wiring and then connecting a CAN computer to it.

This disables the security system, opens the doors and allows for the vehicle to be stolen in under two minutes.
Wasn't aware of that!

well if we reduced the number of cars people have ( and I heard about a guy who has over 200 cars, why would he need that many?) we would have less car deaths

There is no need for people that live in the metropolitan area to own cars, only farmers should be allowed to own cars.

Chinese steel no doubt
Chinese Steel is good .....that is unless you use Govt Factories (the cleanest ones) ....they have a habit of welding scraps together to make sheets

And let's not discuss the cardboard welding masks, with eyeholes cut out

True..

Many people that live in metro areas in cities around the world dont have cars.. but those cities have better public transport.. and they can because their populations are larger and more densely packed in..

Urban sprawl and the love of the quarter acre block (historically.. but not so much in new housing estates these days I know) has seen our country’s small population spread far and wide..

Makes providing public transport hard for all governments.

So most of us Aussies need our cars.. to get to work, play, kids to school etc. our economy would be fxxked without them.. productivity would plummet.. unfortunately cars are a necessity in this country.. big country/small population spread out all over it = cars required.

Now guns.. not sure how they are a necessity for 95% of us to undertake our daily activities.. anyone have any ideas?

Enforcement agencies/ security, farmers, offshore fishermen and feral animal controllers.. yeah.. give them the tick of approval.

sports shooters? Not so much but maybe. I mean.. Fxxk the olympics, no one really watches it or the com games anymore anyway.. and the shooting events?.. even less watch that. Take up the bow and arrow if you so desperately want to put a hole in a target.

Anyone else need guns?.. well come on then.. tell us why? Give us some decent reasoning..
so far no one really has..

Could training our lifeguards up and arming them be an option?.. if the bondi lads had a couple of rifles in a safe for occasions like the other day.. would it have helped?.. i dont know.. just chuckin it out there..

I know one thing.. allowing the arming of the private security teams of the jewish, muslims and christians groups etc. is an idea that can go in the bin straight away.. hard right radical religious based millitia’s in other parts of the world are whats help get us into our current predicament..

To be fair, most cars these days are stolen by people breaking into homes and taking the owner's keys - not by breaking into the vehicle itself.

** Sadly, I know this from personal experience.
It's interesting, out & about these days, I'm seeing a huge number of Pitbull's, owned by families

My theory is .....people are more concerned with people breaking into inhabited homes, than the fear of the Pitbull reputation

I mean, it's not as if you can have a gun for dispensing with Burglars

At least ALP have a target, as better than aiming for nothing! But yes, the 82% looks a long way off. As a guess more likely around 2 3rds, which is still tracking the right way.

Some renewable generation %'s to get an idea of growth, remembering this does not include household solar that never makes the grid, so understated.

2021 29%
2022 35%
2023 35%
2024 36%
2025 43%

Was pretty flat til this year with an increase in batteries... which will be the key going forward.
So the 2025 figure 43% about in line with the 40+% consumers power bills have risen in recent years....progress at a big cost to consumers many who are struggling under cost of living pressures already i.e. rising insurance costs, interest rates, supermarket prices, living in their car or tents with the lack of affordable housing, the list goes on etc etc.

POWER PRICES

*Aussies will see power prices rise on their next bill after July as the government’s $75 rebate ends.

What “truth” is that?

That his government has done more to tackle antisemitism than any other in federal history?.. including;

Appointed special envoy to combat antisemitism
Established Special Operation Avalite to investigate antisemitic threats and attacks
Banned nazi saultes and symbols
Introduced legislation that criminalised hate speech
Gave 32 million to synagogues to increase security
Upgraded holocuast education facilities nationwide
Improved information sharing between state and federal police to prevent antisemitic attacks

So… While we have got you spenze.. can you please provide us all with a list of what the LNP did when last in power to stop antisemitism..

You know.. so we can compare the pair..

Id ask you what pauline has done just incase you were a one nation voter.. but given Pauline likes to attend Nazi rally’s and listen to Thomas Sewell speak from time to time.. I’m not really thinkin it would be a very large list..

I asked mutineer the same question a few days ago, to see if he could provide a list for the LNP and, as usual.. got crickets..

Be a good lad and achieve for us what Mutineer couldn’t..

OK BC, I don't like The LNP either. I can see you are one of those folk who thinks "you are on my side or the other". I just expect accountability from those elected on my tax dollar, it must be horrifying for you but I just kinda, think that is fair.

Anyways, for your own education, the Liberal Party didn't have to introduce specific Anti Semitism laws as there wasn't a problem. The problem became under Labor since Oct 7 2023 when there has been over 3700 reported incidents of Anti Semitism. The last time the Liberals were in power they introduced the following anti discrimination laws

  • Respect@Work and Positive Duty (2021–2022): Following the Respect@Work report, the Morrison Government introduced changes to the Sex Discrimination Act 1984. This included placing a "positive duty" on employers to take reasonable and proportionate measures to eliminate unlawful sex discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace.
  • Workplace Gender Equality: In 2016, the Turnbull Government established a target for women to occupy 50% of Australian Government Board positions. As of recent data, this target has largely been met, reaching over 45% participation.
  • Protections for LGBTQ+ Students and Staff (2013): Just before the 2013 election, amendments to the Sex Discrimination Act were passed (supported by the Coalition) to provide new protections against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, and intersex status.
  • National Anti-Racism Strategy: The Coalition government continued and funded the National Anti-Racism Strategy, which includes public awareness campaigns like "Racism. It Stops With Me."
  • Religious Discrimination Bill (Proposed): Multiple versions of a Religious Discrimination Bill were introduced (notably in 2019 and 2021) aiming to protect people from discrimination on the basis of religious belief or activity. While controversial and ultimately shelved after internal party disagreements, it represented a major policy focus for the Morrison Government.
  • Domestic Violence Leave: The government introduced a minimum entitlement of five days unpaid family and domestic violence leave per year for employees under the Fair Work Act to support those facing discrimination or hardship due to domestic situations.

Ongoing Reviews and Frameworks
  • Disability Discrimination Act Review: Periodic reviews of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 have been conducted to ensure effectiveness in eliminating barriers for people with disabilities in public life.
  • Age Discrimination Protections: The government has maintained and reviewed the Age Discrimination Act 2004 to address ageism in employment and the provision of services.
and for the LBTQ they introduced
  • Marriage Equality (2017): Same-sex marriage was legalised nationwide through the Marriage Amendment (Definition and Religious Freedoms) Act 2017. This followed a national postal survey and was passed with cross-party support, including from Liberal Senator Dean Smith who drafted the bill.
  • Discrimination Protections (2013): While technically passed just before the 2013 election, the Sex Discrimination Amendment (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Intersex Status) Act 2013 provided new federal legal protection against discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation, gender identity, and intersex status.
  • Recognition of Sex and Gender (2013): The Australian Government Guidelines on the Recognition of Sex and Gender commenced in July 2013, enabling adults to identify as male, female, or X on Australian Government documents, with supporting documentation from a doctor or psychologist.
  • HIV Prevention (2019): Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) was approved and listed on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), making the HIV self-testing kit available nationally.
  • Mental Health Funding: The Liberal government committed funding to support the mental health of the LGBTIQ+ community, including for specific programs and services.

Liberal governments at the state level also introduced various policies:
  • Abolition of the "Gay Panic" Defence: The "gay panic" defence was abolished in New South Wales (2014) and South Australia (2020) by state Liberal governments.
  • Expungement of Historical Offences: Laws were amended in New South Wales (2014) and Tasmania (2018) to allow for the removal or "expungement" of historic gay and lesbian offences from records.
  • Inquiry into Historic Hate Crimes: A New South Wales Liberal government established the state's first inquiry into historic LGBTIQ+ hate crimes in 2018.
As for the Labor party, the special envoy was first mooted by the Liberals who were concerned about rising Anti Semitism under Labors watch whilst Albo was doing this
1767059135746.png

looking for the Green vote, being divisive, hiding behind women, typical Albo.

So, they introduced a special envoy to combat anti semitism and then went againt her recommendations, those recommendations that they are alluding to when they said they could have done more. Exactly what is the point of being seen to do something when you have no intention of following through? So window shopping, 16 dead...yay Albo

Established Avalite after the massacre, the one they were saying "could have done more" especially given the special envoy to combat anti semitism had her recommendations ignored because you know, don't want to lose an opportunity of getting the Green vote so people can die instead. So, this wasn't established before the massacre even though since Oct7 2023 when Labor has been in power over 3700 incidents of Anti-Semitism and only act when people get shot by Muslims.

Nazi salute ban...States had that in place beforehand, it was already illegal, so Labor, after being forced to include it on their bill after public backlash, made it double secret probation banned...well ****.

I am not sure how you can't be angry at your own party that prioritises votes over lives, flooding migration over having our children being home owners, still unable to reduce the gap between the Indigenous and the rest where child protection and life expectancy has gotten worse under Labor.

Don't be a party shrill all your life and start having open thoughts. I would also suggest not being condescending to others, nothing in your posting justifies you having the intelligence to take that stand.

If you’ve ever welded Chinese steel you know it’s not good.
What !!! ....and get my hands dirty

Most finished goods come via China in some capacity ......90% of all retail fixturing & pallet racking is Chinese .....Australia tried to stop "Dumping of Steel" ....so the Chinese simply setup new offices in Malaysia ect

There is no other reason to have guns other than sports, police/law enforcement, farmers
So many people outside these actually have guns?

Wasnt a problem?..

Hahaha!.. You are just like Mutineer.. he also thinks that the israel/palestine fight only just started on Oct 7 and antisemitism is some new phenomenon!

My question was simple (And I dont care who you or anyone else follows politically.. it doesnt stop you or anyone else from answering it)

I listed all the things Albo and his gov have done to reduce ANTISEMITISM specifically..

I simply want a corresponding list of what the LNP did to reduce ANTISEMITISM specifically when in power last.

Surely it cant be that hard right?

I mean.. here we are with a whole heap of ferals in the conservative LNP media bleating “Albo has done NOTHING”.. blatent and utter fxxkn lies.. and yet when you ask what the previous governments did.. you get crickets.

But its ok.. people have woken up to murdoch/sky and they are waking up to the Costello fairfax/nine news group too now especially with the new tabloid additions to those news outlets in recent times.

The LNP and their media hacks have politicized this tragedy to desperately try and get the LNP a bounce in the polls.. when no other opposition in Assie history has ever undertaken such a selfishly low act in a time of national tragedy..

and they will overreach with this current over the top hysteria. They always do.. because they are out of touch morons.

Aussies arent stupid and they get their media from a lot of new and different sources these days unlike a decade or so ago when it was wall to wall murdoch..

Just sit back, grab some popcorn with the rest of us and watch it unfold spenze.

Ps.. Operation Avalite was initiated on the 9th december 2024.. well before your bullshit claim in your comment above of “after the massacre”..unless you were talking about a different massacre?..

Heres the official AFP media release from 9 december 2024..

What other bullshit claims have you made in your comment above?

And I’m still waiting for that list of antisemetic specific reduction programs the LNP put in place when last in gov.. take your time..

The look on Albo as the AFP commissioner reads from the given notes. She confirms the Bondi attackers were self-radicalised loners, not foreign-trained operatives. I like her use of the word "alleged."
Did they just they fly to the Philippines to spend a month in a hotel room?
In two weeks, the AFP has been able to establish that the 2 gunmen travelled to the south of Philippines (an area governed by islam) and can confidently say that the men received no training or directive?😂

Or does this suggest they were locally radicalized? That means the problem is in our backyard and therfore a RC is required.

Nothing to see here according to our Labor livvie the Clamster.

Meanwhile crime rates continue to balloon...

Full time police numbers drop as Victorian crime rate soars

There are now less full-time police officers protecting Victorians than when Jacinta Allan first came to power — the alarming drop coming as the crime rate has exploded and population surged.

The number of full-time cops on the beat has dropped by nearly 200 since Jacinta Allan took the state’s top job.
Victoria Police data of employee numbers by location shows that since September 2023, when Ms Allan became Premier, the number of full time equivalent (FTE) police officers fell by 187.

In September 2023 there were 15,969.46 FTE police officers, and despite increases in the following months, the number has since fallen to 15,782.07 FTE police officers in September 2025, a reduction of 187.38.
Despite an increase in the months after Ms Allan’s rise to Premier, the numbers have since fallen to their lowest level since December 2019.

The revelation comes just days after a horror incident in which a woman was cut with a knife after seeking refuge at the Reservoir Police Station, only to find it closed.

The 32-year-old went to the station on Saturday morning to get help, but with the station closed, she was confronted by a man who sliced her with a knife after she refused to hand over her car keys.

The reduction in Victoria Police FTE numbers in the past two years came in the same period as Victoria’s population soared by more than 209,000 and while criminal offences rose by over 25 per cent.
In September 2023, Victoria’s independent Crime Statistics Agency recorded 510,140 offences, while two years later it had recorded 640,860 offences, up 25.62 per cent.

Opposition Leader Jess Wilson said the numbers showed that under Ms Allan, Victoria had “more crime and fewer police”.

“With offending at an all-time high under Labor, Victoria needs more cops on the beat, not fewer, to tackle crime and keep communities safe,” Ms Wilson said.

“Restoring community safety is a top priority for my team. Only a Liberal and Nationals government I lead will end Labor’s crime crisis by investing in crime prevention and ensuring consequences match community expectations.”

TBF ....they keep recruiting, but no-one wants to join the police currently

So much time being devoted to domestic disputes .....just a volatile aspect of Police work, who knows what they're going to encounter

Carryover from Covid plus immigration policies

I really can't blame people for not joining .....it's not as if any of the services get supported by Govt's

LABOR SPIN OVER BONDI HAS NONEOF US FOOLED

The Left’s spin factory can sanitise dirty linen faster than you can say“Bondi Beach”. Within hours of the massacre, where 15 lives wereallegedly taken by two Muslim terrorists, Anthony Albanese announcedthat the National Firearms Agreement, established after the Port Arthurmassacre, would be renegotiated.“People can be radicalised over a period of time,” he spun. “Licences should not be in perpetuity.” It should come as no surprise to the Prime Minister that, just as machete-wielding in Victoria won’t fix African crime, gun control won’t fix the problemof radical Islam. Criminals and terrorists tend not to obey the law. And now, for the first time since Israel responded to the October 7, 2023, Hamas slaughter of 1200 victims, the Left has changed the narrative.“From the river to the sea” is out, replaced by a caring call for “healingand unity”.Anyone blaming religion, the government, or its agencies for whathappened at Bondi is scorned for seeking crass political advantage. So, when Liberal leader Sussan Ley criticised Foreign Affairs MinisterPenny Wong for not shedding “a single tear” after the attack, the Ministerfor Climate Change and Energy, Chris Bowen, offered an outrageddeflection.“I thought that was a disgusting element of an increasingly partisanpolitics in the wake of a national crisis,” Bowen said.“Australia has, in the past, come together at moments like this … andoppositions have chosen not to make political points.” Erased from history is Wong’s anti-Israel bias, evidenced by her refusal tovisit the site of the October 7 massacre and her support for Palestiniansovereignty.
She and her colleagues set the domestic tone that allowed anti-Semitism to flourish. Labor’s initial response to the firebombing of Melbourne’s AdassSynagogue was perfunctory. The targeting of Jewish leaders, Jewish schools, Jewish students atuniversities and Jewish homes passed largely without comment. But, as Bowen now piously lectures, apportioning blame is to be partisan. Labor’s reliable mouthpiece, the ABC, speculated that former treasurerJosh Frydenberg’s powerful condemnation of the government over Bondi was politically motivated. Never mind, Frydenberg is a Jew whose family felt persecuted for 2½ yearsbecause of their religion. Or that he was genuinely grieving over Bondi Beach. To the ABC, he was just using the occasion as a platform to launch anothercampaign.

Of course, the official line maintains religion had nothing to do with the Bondi Beach massacre. Australian Federal Police Commissioner Krissy Barrett claimed the attack was terrorism that was driven by ideology. She, like the ABC’s Laura Tingle, seems unaware that Islamism is an apolitical project rooted in religious orthodoxy, which seeks to remakesociety according to strict Islamic codes.
Better to suppress this truth lest too many Australians think Islamic jihadis are behind that atrocity and succumb to Islamophobia. Indeed, it is the riseof radical Islam that is behind the government’s fear of a royalcommission.Such an inquiry risks exposing Mr Albanese and Labor as having turnedblind eyes to the growing threats against innocent Australian Jews. That is when deciding between votes and national security, anti-Semiticforces triumphed. There is compelling evidence to support a national royal commission. Australians are feeling betrayed by the people they trusted to keep themsafe. Reinventing history won’t change lived experience. Indeed, the deep stain on the nation’s fabric is so deep that no amount ofsoft soaping or spinning will make it disappear.
Sunlight is crucial

And the Editorial

ROYAL COMMISSION REFUSALPROVES ALBO IS PM OF DIVISION

A government has no greater responsibility than to keep its people safe. The Bondi massacre is an abject failure of the Albanese government onthis responsibility. That failure demands the very highest level of scrutiny – a royalcommission conducted by an independent judicial officer. That is the only way to determine what went so wrong as to allow theatrocity to happen and how to ensure it never happens again. It is also theonly way to show respect to the families of the victims. Former Federal Police Commissioner Mick Keelty, writing in TheAustralian, was spot on in highlighting the distinction between MrAlbanese’s choice of a departmental review of intelligence and policing, and a royal commission.“There are sanctions for lying under oath (to a royal commission) that arenot available to a reviewer. Truth is not requested; it is required,” MrKeelty wrote. It is beyond belief that Mr Albanese, who argues his way is necessary forswift action to be taken, could look into the eyes of the victims’ familiesand tell them that they, by collectively demanding a royal commission, arepromoting division and delay. Firstly, the argument about delay is a furphy– there is nothing to stop both types of inquiry going ahead and royalcommissions can be conducted in stages and make interimrecommendations. Mr Albanese’s argument that there were no royal commissions after thePort Arthur massacre or the Lindt Cafe siege is entirely disingenuous. In neither case had a government allowed the constant victimisation of avulnerable minority – two years of rampant anti-Semitism since Hamas’October 7, 2023 mass murder – and done nothing of significance inresponse.

The result of such unchecked hatred was always going to be the likes of thehorror perpetrated at our most iconic beach. Moreover, Mr Albanese has proven himself to be the prime minister ofdivision. First, through the obviously doomed Voice referendum, whichhas unfairly left Aboriginal Australians exposed to more scrutiny andcriticism than ever. Now, through his government’s failure to stem the tide of hatred aimed atthe Jewish community. And in the politically motivated refusal of a royal commission, the guarantee is that nothing will be fixed, and nothing healed.

You're kinda proving my last point, but if you look up the amount of Anti Semitism reported in Australia for the two years before Albo and the two years after Albo was in, you will see it spikes by over 300% after the Oct 7th attacks. We already had laws in place to deal with Anti Semitism but didn't use them because you know Green votes are the priority and we don't want to look like we are blaming Muslims for their behaviour. I lost count of the amount of times I saw people wearing Balaclavas waving Palestine flags...in this country, not being denounced by our leader but being embraced.

as they state in their own report

"The armed attack against Israel that was planned and initiated by Hamas and its supporters on 7 October 2023 featured acts of extreme barbarity against Israeli civilians who were murdered, tortured, r*ped, mutilated and abducted. For anti-Israel activists in Australia and elsewhere, the slaughter acted as a signal that it was now open season against local Jewish communities too, who overwhelmingly support Israel’s right to exist and defend itself.

In the 12 months that followed there was a 316% increase in the overall number of reported antisemitic incidents in Australia compared to the same period in the previous year. Whilst the number of reported antisemitic incidents has fluctuated from year to year previously, there has never been anything like an annual increase of this magnitude"

The attack on Oct 7th was the precipitant for Anti Semitism to spike in this country

The sad thing is 50% of the population can't see it because you know, party cuck

A pack of Chow Chows works well.

Intruders have run away quickly once they realise they are being closely monitored.
