Congratulations to all the award winners, particularly Strigs who had a barnstormer of a season after some loser who was keeping your ruck position warm finally made way.
And even though it wasn't Phenom's most prolific posting season, I feel like it was one of my favourites from you, so it's so good to see you getting the rewards on and off the field to go with it.
I can't think of anyone who has contributed more to the team in recent seasons than Hatchy, so I'm glad to see you get recognised for your contributions.
Well done everyone, and now let's aim for that threepeat...

Congratulations to Strigoi and PhenomenalV1 on claiming the Best and Fairest Award, very well deserved after stellar seasons from you both and all the effort you have both contributed across the last number of months.
Congratulations also to freo84 for claiming the Knifey Spoony Encouragement Award, to Mooresome for claiming life membership at the club, PhenomenalV1 for winning the Hatchy1992 Medal for leading goalkicker, to Bradesmaen and Strigoi for winning the Pie 4 Life Medal for best clubperson and to T2B_ for winning the Players' MVP award. There was some great work by all of you across the course of the season and you have all throughly deserved the awards won for Season 40.
A special mention also to Hatchy1992 on being inducted into the Dragons FFC Hall of Fame. It is a privilege to induct you into the Hall of Fame and is thoroughly deserved on the back of your many seasons of meritorious service to the Dragons, both on field and off. Very well deserved and welcome to the Hall of Fame.
Lastly, well done to Pie 4 Life on a fantastic count, very well done and I believe the spacing out of the awards across the day was a great idea given the time of year we are in at the moment.
Season 40 was a fanatastic season with many achievements, culminating in the best reward of all, a premiership. Everyone here has contributed some amazing stuff across the course of the season so well done to those who have been a part of the club during Season 40. I'm very much looking forward to representing the Dragons again in Season 41.
