Just arrived for the lols at Stokes sooking it up on the same evidence that Marnus got given out in Melbourne :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

We've already established that one frame after it passes the bat is considered conclusive.

Game on Molls

The spike seems to be after the ball passed the bat.
Haven't calibrated the vision again like every test.
What is going on up there?
And the right call made,phew.
Stokes knew he knicked that, look at his expression.
Aussies back in the test.

The spike seems to be after the ball passed the bat.

Not convinced he hit that.
How many times do we have to go through this - the crappy frame rate of the cameras means that most of the noise occurs outside that one instant snapshot.

You're judging the timing of the noise compared with the limited frames.
Notice how, 1 frame advanced, and the noise spike is gone?
Efrectively means that "entire" snapshot of noise (ie the snicko line) over one frame covers every moment from the previous frame to the subsequent frame.

They need better cameras.

That's also Brook's wicket after the daft shot he played to get himself out.

That lucky sob was lucky to be there

Would have been the quinella with Crawley for worst Tons

Carey going up was the giveaway. He's rarely dishonest

If it was so obvious then why didn't Starc appeal? Even he wasn't sure if that was out.

He did though. Who cares though Carey knew he’d smashed it mate

I’m stuck at work without a tv can someone confirm whether Stokes did the bat flip of anger after he was given out?

Anyone see that earlier footage of Smith instructing mid off to go wider when the bowler was running in? Begs the question how far can a fielder actually deviate at that point? Can extra cover sprint in like a madman as the bowler is approaching to short leg, or are you only allowed to walk? Can fourth slip discreetly shuffle over to gully like a crab?
