Is Dan Sams the most overrated BBL player ever. He's talking up that much you'd think he's a superstar but its spuds it up most of the time
He would be if it weren't for Jake Fraser-McGurk.

This guy would be remembered as one of our best cricketers ever if not for one of the ****en dumbest decisions in sporting history. Pisses me off coz when we look back at his career we'll see the runs and EVERY C*NT will forever mention the sandpaper in the next breath.

I think this is like majority of guys that take the BBL by storm. They dominate for a few seasons, get picked for Aus, fail at international level and then never really reach the same heights as they were before they got picked

"promised so much"

Skull just wrote the foreword to Cam Green's post career book.
If I may offer what will probably be an unpopular defence of Green - if his body holds up, he's an all-rounder. Stokes is widely regarded as the best seam-bowling allrounder of the past 15 years and he averages 35 with the bat and 31 with the ball. Green averages 32 with the bat and 36 with the ball, so not as good, but also not miles off either. He's also got a Shield average over 50 which suggests that he may be a better batsman than his test record to date suggests. It's not really Green's fault that people started having visions of Jacques Kallis dancing in their heads after his early Shield returns. If he can stay healthy he should at least be able to settle into a Watto-esque career where he's stable, solid all-rounder in the side and contributes a lot in the white ball format too.

He's worth persisting with because if you look around at Australian domestic cricket, what other young-ish seam bowling allrounders are there? Jack Edwards averages 30 with the bat in first class cricket. Will Sutherland averages 18. Liam Scott averages 27. Aside from Beau Webster, who just turned 32, there just doesn't appear to be another seam-bowling allrounder with Green's ability.
