genuine question, who are you bringing in to not only win over the baying masses, but a manager who can actually play progressive football, who will develop younger players.

Serious question because it feels ike there will be a bit more at play than simply winning games of football for the next gaffer

Tottenham need to work out with the sporting director what the **** they want to be. You don't go from Ange to an ultra defensive Frank and expect it to work, they need to work out the model they want going forward, have a sporting director who buys players for that model and then pick a manager who coaches that style
Most spurs fans want a more attacking manager than Frank, so guy find a guy who coaches attack well regardless of talent and opponent. Wrong time to get an established guy imo, get a younger coach who wants to develop youth. If you just bloody develop and play Tel, Odobert, Gray, Bergvall, Sarr, Vuskovic and co more than not for the next 3 years you'll improve the team without needing to spend.

Ive often thought that coaches in AFL who become dynasty coaches are those untried. The ones brought in with mega club experience are stepping stone, or win now managers?

im not across who is good or not but surely the ones who are looking to develop youth should be on our radar.

Maresca has a reputation of pretty negative football doesn't he? Leicester fans weren't that happy with it

It's slow possession based like Pep

Can be boring to watch but it isn't sitting back doing nothing. It's picking apart the opposition. Will it be as exciting as Redknapp and Ange and peak poch? Definitely not. But it would be more like AVB and Poch when we werent belting sides. There were times with Poch we had to ride out games controlling them and waiting and seizing late.

Gotta go doesn't he? 3 wins in 14

Tel given mins and looks decent. Looked decent in October off the bench. Unused for 2 months.

Xavi needs to be the cornerstone. Looks okay in patches. But safety first frankball doesn't give him the keys.

I could see what Redknapp would do if he was in charge, as he did it with Bale and Modric. And then built around the stars

Vicario
Spence Romero Danso VDV
Porro Gray Palinha Tel
Xavi
Kolo Muani

Simple football 4411 get wingers wide. Porro whipping balls in. Tel cutting in with vdv outside him. Xavi pulling the strings behind the striker.

Is it flawless? Heck no. Would we win more than 20% of games and score from open play regularly? Definitely
