With each American owing an average of 1.5 to 2 firearms according to AI, with appropriate ammo no doubt, you wonder how far away the US is from some serious escalation in violence, especially with the VP further inflaming the situation.

The people I know have had their rage dialed up a bit in the past few months, especially since Venezuela. They won't be going out and joining militias ala Boston Common just yet, but they sure as shit will defend their homes or neighborhoods. The ones who live amongst many MAGAs most of all seem ready to do violence if they step foot on their property in a threatening way.
These are not the kind of people who spout off slogans like 'bomb them into the stone age!' To see them start to get real riled up is alarming. They are being pushed into by the MAGA/GOP/Fox zombies.

The President and Vice President have publicly stated he will be cleared and is immune to charges. He won't be charged.

It won't stop someone else taking matters into their own hands, but that'd escalate things even further and is likely what Trump and Vance actually want. They are eagerly awaiting something to escalate it.

This is why Trump will fail. He is your classic never show weakness or mercy type dictator in a democracy. He could have done the smartest thing by expressing sympathy for the deceased and vowed to conduct a thorough investigation. Instead he has tripled down and decided to inflame tensions. He will get many ICE agents killed now and some cities will turn into the wild west.

All I hope is congress are watching the closely and are concluding he is going to **** them over at the midterms if they don't act.

Disagree there is a lot of examples of previous investigations being found to be incompetent and reopened. I don't think the FBI will even investigate it. Kash will just bench it on the to do list maybe as a side note of I investigated and doesn't warrant any further action.

If Trump pardons him it only works at federal level. And almost certainly doesn't prevent civil action. Either way the officer is ****ed at some stage.

The immunity LEOs have in the USA grants them immunity from civil action as long as they're not violating civil or constitutional rights.

The MAGArds are already saying it was self-defence (that's the big question). If they get an FBI finding that he was acting in self-defence, he won't be charged and any future charge will never get a full jury conviction, there'll always be a MAGArd involved..

My understanding is that, as a federal LEO, he falls under federal jurisdiction and the state can't charge him.

Does anyone actually think Kash Patel isn't going to make sure this person, who the President has already stuck up for, isn't charged?

My understanding is that the best the family can do is sue Homeland Security, but not the individual officer. The officer will probably win a seat in the state congress.

Miller and Trump want conflict. It's why the ICE agents are doing what they're doing.

They want it to escalate so they can create more chaos and violence before the mid-terms. To make people vote for strength and to make it easier to set aside and tamper in the elections.

I like Jesse. Not quite a Bernie Sanders but still an old school union guy who seems to have drifted left on some issues from what I have seen. Pity he isn't 5-10 years younger. As about as progressive an Independent as you will find.

The brutal truth is more than likely at least another 10 months of Trump. Republicans are unlikely to impeach. The midterms will kill his power and he will be a lame duck president. But anyone expecting him to go any earlier is merely having wishful thinking. The skeptic in me suggest congress vote of reducing Trump's Venezuela power was to protect Trump against growing descent in the ranks. Basically protecting his presidency.

I lean more toward congress trying to protect it's ass but that's an interesting take.

Look I know Elon is throwing lots of cash into it. If it was a given he wouldn't waste his money.

There were apparently anomaly's in the 2020 election. And the Dominion Voting machines were queried.

And Trump would have the Venezuela intel now from Maduro.

If there are anomalies in the mid term election it is likely going to be Republicans cheating........But if it is a fair election, the democrats likely win, given there is more of a reason to get out and vote.

Losing Charlie Kirk is likely a big loss for Republicans as well as he helped motivate the younger republican vote.

Because trump has addressed so many things they wanted to change, the republicans will be less motivated to vote.

If Democrats win power in mid terms, Trump likely is impeached.
