Yeah i was anti Caleb last season and at USC because he lived off improv and didnt know how to read a defense or read a play before this season. but this season he was forced to learn how to be a real QB and it turned him into a good one. I dont think i have said anything different the back half of the season. he stopped living in off script plays and went all in on the system around him along with trusting his players for the most part to be in the right spot. I always said if he keeps playing the same he wont last long, but he is not the same player as last year. Bears built what Ben Johnson needs with a top tier OL and run game supporting a QB with a stack of motion and misdirection to get miss matches.

If you think Caleb was playing like this 12 months ago or even at USC then its not me who is the ignorant one.
Bears made plays they needed to at the end and the Packers didnt. we choked and gave the game away. Its what happens when you let teams riding a wave of late comebacks have another chance. Packers had a great run last season with getting turnovers and winning games because of it, This year we couldnt buy one. You cant live off turnovers which is also why i dont think Denver is any good. Also live off turnovers and late game comebacks. I dont see it as sustainable

IF you win next week ill give the bears the credit they deserve but i look at this as a game were the packers blew it more then the Bears won it.
After all they were the 2 seed. we had our chances to win the division but couldnt recover an onside kick. We are chokers right now. have done it all season. All i had said was the Bears are the only team in the playoffs i think we can beat and for most of the game that was true, but then we remembered we are the 2025 packers and just had one of the worst called halves in playoff history.

Good teams dont enter the half up 3 scores and have 3 drives in the 3rd Q with 1 first down. We stuck with the kicker who had been poor all year and he missed 3 kicks. we blew it.

And now with the Bears winning 3 of the last 4 games the rivalry is back on after being one sided the last 20 years.

i dont even spend much time talking about the bears outside of watching games live and commenting on them or in regards to a game coming up. And if more of my other posts have seemed negative and not banter than it might be because i have been in a poor mood for other reasons the last couple of months

I dont think anyone has ever asked him why he hates GB. but the first thing he said when hired was he liked beating MLF twice a season. and said something about noise from up north earlier in the week gave them extra motivation. but i dont remember anything that the Packers had said publicly that would be bulletin board material. unless it was Jeff Hafley saying see you next week to the reporters in his mid week press availability
