Compulsory voting and the preferential system of counting votes almost guarantees a slightly right of centre or left of centre Government unlike FPTP voting.

The ALP hold 94 seats. the Coalition hold 42 seats, independents 10 seats, minor parties 9 seats and one nation one seat.

Remember, Government is not formed from the Senate, but from the House. How is One Nation going to gain another 78 seats to govern in their own right?

As it stands now, they would have to take all the Coalition seats, all the cross benches and minors and take 16 seats from Labor to govern in their own right

The Israeli occupation led to the development of Hamas.

Most of the population of Gaza were ethnically cleansed by Israeli terrorists from the current state of Israel. Mostly Ashkelon.

Ashkelon was not supposed to be part of Greater Israel according to UN partition, it was a Christian/Muslim city with almost no Jewish presence in 1947. Then the Israeli terrorists ethnically cleansed them all into Gaza. Then they blockaded the area so that they couldn't build any permanent settlements and every few years, they blow up whats been built.

THey're not refugees from Gaza, they're still refugees from Ashkelon because Israel kicked them out and will not let them settle anywhere.
