Soldo's done his ACL. Out for the year
I really can't see how Freo can fit Chad Warner on their list in a couple years.

Trying to get in under the SSP deadline
Yep, there's always a reason when the AFL does something "SPECIAL" for the Vic teams, vAFL strikes again!
Great signing for Freo - lock down close to a decade of racking up 30 touches a game with zero hurt factor.
Come @ me purple lurking losers

Realistically that's Hayden Young should be the 'main' guy. Injuries have really held him back.Simple equations at Freo - Win goal of the year. Get paid for eternity.
Serong is a fine player. Just needs to be the third or fourth fiddle, when the whips are cracking in September and not expected to be the main man.
And I agree with your opinion that the policy is a good one.I’m a fully paid up member of the VicBias bandwagon but the SSP extension isn’t an example - it’s actually one of those rare instances when they’ve made a good decision
By extending the deadline to March 2 it allows clubs to replace a player in the unfortunate event they suffer a season ending injury in a preseason game. Completely common sense move that should have been in place before now
Also, the original cutoff date was February 20 so the Bulldogs would’ve have been able to replace him under the old date.

They are a club that will always be able to interest free agents and the like over to them, so if they find themselves down with salary cap to spare, probably wont end up ****ed for that long.Pies are still a year or two from falling off, but they are timing it poorly with Tassie entering the comp. Not a lot of good young talent coming through there either.
The Daicos' leaving and generating bulk picks is a blessing in disguise for them IMO
Fair enough. It's really just background music unless a high goal scorer has a memorable song. Waterman's is pretty good, you'd remember it if you watch him kick a bag live. Don't ask me the name of the song though (I just know the tune).Oh ok, never noticed

Either Cripps' or Ryan's was a CCR song.
If I was playing AFL I'd choose Hot Potato.
What's funny is the dick can't leave our board alone.

North jumping up.
North jumping up.
They have a worse defence than you.
