IMO it’s too late to be thinking memories from 60 years ago are going to be reliable or that people that thought they saw the children have not by now come forward.
We don’t remember random people like that even just hours later.
You’d have to have interacted with or knew the kids to remember who they were with and I think those witnesses have long since come forward.
And those that did come forward would have to recall 60 year old memories to identify a photo or new drawing and that is so fraught you’d end up with false memories and unintentionally false claims and get nowhere.
Bryan alluded to something along the lines of what you propose here or said the identikit is a composite of at least two sightings of different men with the kids.
Wouldn’t it be great if someone was going through old slides or photos and happen to find an image from the day.
I have said before I feel this only gets solved by someone with enough knowledge to get the $1m reward and locate the bodies.

Notice how the crime remains unsolved and the remains haven’t been found? Why would the $1m have been paid?

Well the case is unsolved so obviously no one has collected the reward.
This case needs the bodies to be found to be solved. If you knew where the bodies are and came forward you’d get the reward.
The reward is offered because at this point this only gets solved via a confession.
Hence why I don’t think this ever gets solved because the culprit(s) likely kept it to themselves and are now dead.
Talk to as many 70-80 year olds as you want and show them photos and ask them to recollect 60 year old memories and think that’s progress. Not going to solve it that way sadly.

They are not asking for the age of consent. They are asking for you to verify your statement, that the younger male was 15yo, not 17yo as reported in the papers. Back up your statement. We all know how unreliable journolists are in correct reporting
