Some truly scary calls being made here for a guy that's played 3 games out of the MSD and has a one-year deal.

Agree he looks promising but hopefully people don't drop him when it gets harder for him in year 2 (as it does for them all).

He can always play down back and looks like he can ruck well enough as well.
Regardless of what happens, he's a good player to have on the list.

Well my original comment was about an intra club that he didn’t play in.

Why play Xerri this week after he played SOO last week, rest him play CCJ and Trembath and bring in Xerri and the best performer out of Trembath and CCJ against Collingwood.

For sure I realise your original comment was from a month ago. I just thought you might have some insight into why a young player that’s out performed an older injured hack in every conceivable way, isn’t getting a game

Either Trembath is being managed and won’t play vfl tomoz, or match committee have officially lost the plot

CCJ last 8 afl games have yielded 11 marks. I wouldn’t worry

I don’t want to over react, but **** me if he plays VFL tomorrow there will be serious question marks over the match committee.

It better not be a case of them favouring Darling in a two tall forward line, that’ll be beyond stupid.

Otherwise the same dumb campaigner selection process seems to be up and running early on.

The logical expectation was that he was being managed.

Easy to forget he's a key position player who not long ago turned 20. Add to this, 12 months ago he wasn't considered fit enough to play VFL. And he had a heavy workload last week.

Hopefully it's as simple as that.

I love PC but not sure that suits him. He's not overly quick on the lead and his overhead ability will quickly be nullified by bigger opponents if make him our main target and is so powerful now because opponents can't just play

His best possie is IMO playing off the full forward, running off centre leads and either holding and getting used or wheeling back in front where he can hit front and centre and weave some magic.

He's the hybridiest of hybrid forwards IMO and they are best advantaged when opponents don't know how they'll be used.

Mostly agree but imo PC is the closest thing to undefendable 1v1 out of the square since Dusty.

He's quicker than most stronger / taller than him and certainly stronger than anyone that can match him for speed / agility.

Our problem is we haven't seen him isolated out of the square enough.

Considering the ruck rule changes I think they'd want to maximise X's time in practice matches so they can iron out any potential friction with the new way of things

He only played 53% TOG last week, fair to assume he also needs the hitout.
