If it rains and it turns into a scrap, it could end up being a bit of a territory battle anyway, some of the concerns around ball movement might be put on hold for a week.
Forecast looks like a potential for 2mm over the course of the game based on the BOM. Having said that, the BOM has been way off its game this year. So it could end up being a monsoon!

Beetwixed and between.
I dont know what that means but i think thats me.

Positives
Weve won more quarters than cats.
They have started slowly.
Our squad still looks strong on paper
Good inclusions.
No Danger
Weather may suit.

Negs
Geelong
Away
Geelong away
6 days
4 seniors out
Cats off a bye..buy..bi......buy buy.

Look at the games last season against Port at home, Sydney at SCG and Gold Coast at home and even the regular season home game against Hawthorn. Also first half of the 4th quarter vs the Bulldogs.

I want the players to try and replicate that style tonight and not only tonight, but for the rest of the season. Think of footy in the 1970's and 80's.

Chip it around at half back and we're going to get absolutely demolished.

No one expects us to win.

Comes down to the style of play IMO.
Just go super basic with the playstyle.

Nicks: "If Tom Stewart is standing in the D50, where do we kick it boys?"
Crows Mids: "Ummmmm, directly to Stewart?"
Nicks: "No, thats were we don't kick it. We kick it to the massive dude in the Crows #7 guernsey remember?"
Crows Mids: "Yep, thats right, we always forget that!"

Just imagine how sweet it’ll be when we finally get over the line.
Yep.

We’ll have flying cars and aliens will have integrated into society by then too.

You missed the part where we go backwards and sidewards first, then we kick it long to Stewart who is on Pedlar.

School night, so no chance for me to be up in the wee hours.

Crows by eleventy billion, screw the surfer boy and his kittens

Nobody tell me the score 😜

I actually think Nicks would say "we stick to our game plan. One day, it will work, and that will scare the shit out of them."

Last week I was hopeful of a win, by 3QT I had accepted we would lose, then the hope came back as we hit the front only for my heart to be shattered. Ruined my weekend. This game I'm going in expecting a loss.

I would take a different approach tonight to unsettle the opposition.

Any Crows player standing the 6-7 hair banded Geelong players is told to immediately rip it off their head and throw it over the fence when the siren goes to start the game.

This surprise move would surely be good for a fast start and might even get us a few free kicks in front of goal as Geelong retaliate.

This has got the potential to see us completely schooled in wet weather footy tonight. Hope i am wrong

In the past, I’ve seen us deploy the wet weather take ground strategy whilst opponent runs the ball using hands. By the time we work out it’s not a bog and skills can still be executed, the game was already gone.
