100 percent it is. Trouble for blues is even if they get a young innovative coach with fresh ideas, the Carlton board might restrict this new coach and tell them what to do. Supporters of Carlton are afraid this is already happening to Graham Wright.
Adam Simpson doesn't have a rebuild in him either.

Just no, he's good but no where near top 5 in the AFL.
Just wondering - did you think Cyril was top 5 in the comp?

I have Bont, Daicos, Butters maybe Jeremy Cameron maybe Petracca maybe Nasiah - if Kosi is not in the top 5 then he's definitely in the top 10. Youd be more than happy if he wore the brown and gold

I’d rather my team have 5 or 6 in the top 25

Wait till they actually play a non cellar dweller
With the top ten in place there are going to be some very, very ordinary teams play in the wildcard finals.

Imagine if Norf somehow scraped into 10th place due to their insanely easy draw and then got destroyed by say an Adelaide in Adelaide.

Cyril was in another league to Pickett.

Cyril didn't even have to be there for a player to panic and turn the ball over just because of his name. Cyril was top five because of what he did without the ball. When pickett gets oppo players to shit themselves he can look at a photo of cyril.

I was at a game up here on the gold coast a Gold Coast player running around the wing with no one behind him. Someone in the crowd yelled "Get him Cyril!" He shat himself and kicked it straight down, I think it was, Ben Statton's throat. Cyril was on the bench.

Carlton’s problem isn’t entirely the coach. It’s more the board, footy dept and backroom staff. They are forever poaching staff from other clubs which has issues as the message and direction keeps changing and on top of that they are forever playing catch up rather than innovating themselves.

It's their coterie groups and masked men. Same as Essendon.

Too much influence on the ones actually in charge

I was in the Pepsi section last year because we missed the initial allocation too. It’s on the higher level and provides a function room afterwards with music, better selection of food etc. You don’t get a reserved seat but there were plenty of extra seats to choose from, we ended up being close to behind the goals nursing hangovers from a big weekend and a poor performance.
