His marking is very reliable too, even if he tends to take an eternity to decide what to do with the ball.Thought outside of a couple of mistakes Worner was very good tonight, he and Chapman were important during the first half.
I also lost a pup recently and my heart is still so sore, they are your family, thoughts with youHope you’re ok mate.

Are you actually serious or taking the piss out of us ?I would've easily had Ryan, Cox, Pearce and Clark ahead of him and that's just in the backline.
Have seen people suggest it was his best game for the club... I'd love to have some of whatever they're smoking.
Even just in the last two minutes alone, he got sucked into the contest and didn't impact, letting Borlase out the back who could've won it for them but mercifully missed from about 20m out.
I may not be giving him enough credit for turning around his woeful form, I'll cop that, but I think some are waaaay overselling it.
Swittas last quarter was actually pretty good. How did Omera miss that goal..
And I think the head knocks and fear of it happening again is impacting Switta. He's a shell of previous years, if we were losing he would be in the cross hairs
Thankyou. It's tough, I won't lie, but as they say - as an owner, you need to take their pain away and be left behind to somehow move forward with itI also lost a pup recently and my heart is still so sore, they are your family, thoughts with you![]()
AI has slipped a bit of Jordan Clark and Neil Erasmus into Bruce's face there, I reckon.
This play (chip and charge) got mentions from both Pearce's and Longmuir's post-game interviews. Was hugeWhen I watched the replay of that last few minutes, I was floored by another incredible defensive effort that occurred. Jordan Clark take a bow. He takes possession, obviously wanting / needing to clear the area. No Freo players outside the 50 on the side he’s on. Just 3-4 Adelaide players. He has a split second decision to make. He can bomb it, someone marks and sends it straight back inside 50. He chooses to grubber the kick - then runs like the freaking wind to get to where the ball is, gives the player with possession a bit of a shove, impacts his kick which ends up also grubbering off his boot stopping him from being able to send in a potentially markable kick. Huge effort and such an amazingly quick and clever decision in a matter of milliseconds. ****ing brilliant!!

Credit...Youve been around a while Injury...still finding your way around?Fixate? He's been in poor form.
I will give it another watch, but geez this board loves a pile on for a difference of opinion.![]()

I wouldn't think so. No prior opportunity and made a genuine attempt.Genuine question. Should that have been ball? Kozzie got a free kick against Walsh for a similar stripping of the ball, thought Clark could've got one too.

I reckon he had sufficient time for prior, and not sure if it hit his boot, but Clark didn't actually tackle him he just managed to push him off the ball.I wouldn't think so. No prior opportunity and made a genuine attempt.
I also think by the way the ball fell it likely hit his boot anyway.
Yes, yes I canthere is something hilarious that the reason crows lost is the 2 players they hate the most in jones and rob and are stupidly included in the team this week screwing up in key moments. Could you imagine the forum if it was Banfield that cost us the game

Well banners did pretty much get the brunt of the blame for supporters in the GWS loss , but still in the pies game wasn't scared to the pull the trigger, perhaps knowing if he didn't pull it off what the repercussions would have beenthere is something hilarious that the reason crows lost is the 2 players they hate the most in jones and rob and are stupidly included in the team this week screwing up in key moments. Wrote on here about 3 or 4 years ago that you’ll know freo are ready to win a flag when the likes of Banfield and Hughes are permanently out of the starting side.there is something hilarious that the reason crows lost is the 2 players they hate the most in jones and rob and are stupidly included in the team this week screwing up in key moments. This lions side may well end up as one of the best sides of all time imo, they are seriously stacked with class and composure across the ground, but to imply these other contenders don’t have poor moments or players prone to mistakes is just seriously so bewildering. Go on to any of these teams boards during a game and you’ll see players getting lambasted as they do hereWrote on here about 3 or 4 years ago that you’ll know freo are ready to win a flag when the likes of Banfield and Hughes are permanently out of the starting side.
All you have to do is look at the recent premiers. They are the objective benchmark, and they simply don’t carry liabilities like that in their lineups.
There are levels in the AFL and as you move from a 9-10th placed side to a 2nd to 3rd placed side, the weakest players should be filtered out (as we are seeing).
If we play Brisbane in a prelim or a GF there will be no cheap goals for us off the back of dumb turnovers from their defenders. So we can’t have the same profligacy on our side. For this reason Karl Worner is on watch for me. Still better than Banfield all the same though.
It was the same last year against the GC suns actually and ultimately it’s cost us the game.
Melbourne isn’t that bad and have a great chance to make 10th.Gee whiz Melbourne beating Gold Coast just goes to show that other than maybe 3 cellar dwellers any side really can beat any other side on any given day. New rules have made it really hard to arrest momentum I think.
