I would've easily had Ryan, Cox, Pearce and Clark ahead of him and that's just in the backline.

Have seen people suggest it was his best game for the club... I'd love to have some of whatever they're smoking.

Even just in the last two minutes alone, he got sucked into the contest and didn't impact, letting Borlase out the back who could've won it for them but mercifully missed from about 20m out.

I may not be giving him enough credit for turning around his woeful form, I'll cop that, but I think some are waaaay overselling it.

Swittas last quarter was actually pretty good.

Treacys dribbler came from switta, who had to take a handball to his ankles clean at pace, then dish it off to Treacy before being tackled.

From memory he also set up Voss' missed shot in the last

I reckon he had sufficient time for prior, and not sure if it hit his boot, but Clark didn't actually tackle him he just managed to push him off the ball.

Incredible effort by Clark but not quite holding the ball.

Well banners did pretty much get the brunt of the blame for supporters in the GWS loss , but still in the pies game wasn't scared to the pull the trigger, perhaps knowing if he didn't pull it off what the repercussions would have been

Wrote on here about 3 or 4 years ago that you’ll know freo are ready to win a flag when the likes of Banfield and Hughes are permanently out of the starting side.

All you have to do is look at the recent premiers. They are the objective benchmark, and they simply don’t carry liabilities like that in their lineups.
There are levels in the AFL and as you move from a 9-10th placed side to a 2nd to 3rd placed side, the weakest players should be filtered out (as we are seeing).

If we play Brisbane in a prelim or a GF there will be no cheap goals for us off the back of dumb turnovers from their defenders. So we can’t have the same profligacy on our side. For this reason Karl Worner is on watch for me. Still better than Banfield all the same though.

It was the same last year against the GC suns actually and ultimately it’s cost us the game.

This lions side may well end up as one of the best sides of all time imo, they are seriously stacked with class and composure across the ground, but to imply these other contenders don’t have poor moments or players prone to mistakes is just seriously so bewildering. Go on to any of these teams boards during a game and you’ll see players getting lambasted as they do here

Melbourne isn’t that bad and have a great chance to make 10th.

They have got rid of the toxic players, got better coaching and they have loaded up on young talent.
