If Serong is on the bench aswell as Farrow surely you can keep him over Farrow as hes more likely to lose cash?

Yes, but Farrow is playing and who knows how long Serong is going to be out for. If he's a non-scoring player, by all means hold on, but I also like Farrow's job security.

Grlj is the one being cashed in because he's more likely than Farrow to drop value imo. Farrow is possibly done next week too anyway so much of a muchness there.

Grlj went last week for me so its one or the other for me.

Bodie ryan is so tempting me over will edwars at the moment but think i will play it safe with edwards unless he is dropped
Seems to have a few things going for him from my "research".

3rd year player.

Kick to handball ratio is good.

Has had multiple games with double figure marks in the VFL and Hawthorn rack up a lot of possessions.

VFL AVG 82 with the odd tonne, and the odd 40.

Has done away with the mullet.

This... (Which I didn't know)
"Ryan was named best afield in South Australia’s last two games of the National Championships, proving a reliable member of the Croweaters’ back six. In the first of those outings, he was tasked with locking down Harley Reid after the top prospect booted three goals in the game’s opening 10 minutes"

Cons,
Doesn't tackle much so won't be out there saving his score if he can't get the ball.

Seems a bit slow with his ball movement (something that could get him dropped) and I think his ball drop is a touch high so there's that extra split second from ball drop to ball in flight.
This results in some floaty & slow passes, rather than back half darts that are valued.

Could do worse that a $230k defender that HAS finally earned his shot.

Fair chance at a one and done with the strength of the Hawks backline even if he does ok. But, after trading Dev, I could use a red dot. 😀

Harley Reid is now a third year player, so not sure Bodie Ryan's achievements four years ago when both were 17 should hold much merit.

The VFL average of 82 is promising though. Pencilled in as a potential target for next week, we can afford to wait. The bargain basement price is a positive.

Don't care about the Reid part (I didn't BOLD it) but copied the paragraph, just the S.A BOG in two champs games in a stacked draft is good.

Personally think he paid off the coaching staff going by the highlights as he didn't look THAT good but it is what it is.

Wonder why it's taken him so long then, maybe just didn't fit Sam Mitchell's system. Anyway, good for us Fantasy coaches.

Cant get up to the big premos this week, so think I will do this, with the plan of moving Brown on his favourable Rd13 bye. Should make good $ until then, and bank 300k for next week to get up to a top premo.

I think Newman might be the consensus Serong replacement IMO in that price range (has the Fantasy game and remember, we were paying up 1m+ for him two years ago) the other options are

Impey, in good form but will it stay?

Noble, not enough possession games to realistically consider

Amon- never again

Short- Never again

Milera- up and down

Helmet- Inconsistent

Parker- Slowing down after his hot start

Curnow out could mean ladhams in for him. Its either him or the more traditional key fwd in Mclean.

Trying to decide between Newman and Bailey Dale here

Yeah, next week is upgrade week, so one or both of Serong and Farrow are likely to go then....

Option 1: Whitfield in, farrow out (hold Grill)

Option 2: Dale in, Grill out (hold farrow)

Option 3: Newman in, Grill out (hold farrow)

Noble does have the Saints sugar hit this week. Rd 12 bye though. Probably not a realistic option but would be a spicy pick.

Only problem for me is i need to trade one of them to a DEF rook only and id need to move NWM to the mids if i wanted a premo instead..

Yeah - I may have the same issue. NAS is my target next week, but I would need to also bring in a def rookie or trade Jagga out and bring in another mid rookie

Noble 87 v dogs, 116 v hawks in Darwin last year
Suns players scores always seem to spike in Darwin because they play well there

But looking at the Suns board they can’t stand the guy and want him dropped

I want to take a punt but worried he drops a 70

wtf is this lol.

A couple more games would be nice, would be annoying to bring him in and ship him off next week.

Sure, he'll make some $$$ - but a bit more would be nice....
