You probably won't be able to tell how the points system has worked in the MPNFL until next year. With all players who played with the clubs last year ranked 1 point you could still pretty much recruit who you wanted. I think the system has merit. It is worth a go as we all know the salary...

Not a fan of Berwick. It's got no atmosphere. The wind sweeps through it. It's not a patch on Rye, Sorrento, Dromana etc.

Never copped a earful from them but in a close game they are nuts. Would hate to umpire a game there.

Rye football ground is like a putting green all year round.

Seaford in the MPNFL. It's a tiny ground. Can't park your car around the boundry and the supporters on the hill are feral.

Springvale is in better nick than Frankston. I think it is up to VFL standard. We did have a reasonably wet winter with a heap of grounds not up to scratch. I think it's a great move by Springvale.

He is a very good player. Played for my local team (Devon Meadows) 2 years ago and was BOG in the Div 1 interleague grand final. Is very very quick. You are right about his issues but he can really play.
