Sunday there will be like hostile nations at war — colored uniforms proudly on display, rich histories loudly remembered, fears and failures whispered and pushed away. But today on the eve of the battle, the Ophidian Old Boys in only their second season proudly march off through Spotswood suburb flying the Old Boys flag and carrying the hopes of Spotswood Campus with them.

The Ophidian Old Boys qooty players were joined by thousands of Old Boys qooty fans who lined the streets of Spotswood for the grand final parade, wearing out the tips of their shoes for a glimpse of their OOB qooty hero's.

Finals qooty is furious but the pace of the parade was more leisurely, slowly making its way from Spotswood Oval, onto Mrs T’s Tavern to meet the supporters. Diehard believers, young and old, met Old Boys players and gorged themselves on some of Mrs T’s finest tavern food, as part of the pre-game celebrations.

Among the white, vivid orange and orchid purple, there was fluoro yellow and navy. The qolice presence in Spotswood was heavy ahead of the suburbs biggest weekend, but the fans only had eyes for their favorite players.

Some lucky Old Boy fans will get tickets for the SWEET F.A. Grand Final at SFA Park for a history-making moment, but many will not. They will instead crowd around televisions at either Mrs T's Tavern, Sir Aldus Haydovian Pavilion or Robertio Guinness Bar with their heart in mouth and scarf in hand, hoping the Old Boys will win their first premiership and be the guests of honor at the next parade proudly wielding the silverware.

Grand Final week has been a Blur.

So Much Good will both from our Supporters, but the whole Sweet Community.

The Old Boys are the only Show in town.
I would've liked a bit more media from us, but we still have 3 days to go.
